Best kit for function/price
For the price, this is the best compass kit. When drawing a circle with a compass, you want the compass to hold the width you want. You want the point to not move so one swipe around your done. This compass has a gear that opens the width, thus won't change during use. I've purchased others in stores and you spend more time fixing what went wrong. One and done. One circle around, and its done.

Loose screws!
Warning! Open the set on a towel. Three of the very tiny screws and wheels were loose in the box. If lost in carpet..say goodbye forever! Otherwise a very nice set wit quality tools. My best guess is a $1 an hour employee got frustrated and said "screw it" before giving up during a very tedious assembly.

Good quality and accuracy
Happy with the quality of the smaller compass and accessories. The smaller compass holds the setting pretty well. The pencil adapter works well with mechanical pencils and allows for consistent fine lines. The larger compass screw and pins have play that allows for some movement. It should hold position fine as long as you are careful to not put inward or outward pressure on the arms, much like the freely adjustable style, but with less risk of losing the setting. I've used the smaller compass a bunch for making mandalas on 4x6 cards and have been quite happy with the accuracy, but have not used the larger compass. Overall, the $13 is more than worth it for the smaller compass, sharpener, extra leads, and pen/pencil adapter if the larger compass does not work out.

Unfortunate Buy (Updated)
*Edit* I would like to first say that the customer service is the best I’ve dealt with. The company does take great pride in their products and are not just sending cheaply made junk. If there’s a problem then they want to know and want to fix it. I hope the issues are addressed and I would definitely purchase from them again. I think I would avoid compasses that have plastic parts that are important components though. I knew at this price that it wouldn’t be made from the best materials or have precise, German like engineering. I was certain that it wouldn’t last for years or even a year at best. At the moment I couldn’t really budget in a high dollar compass so I decided on this one. I bought this around July 8th of 2022 and had immediate regrets. As shown in my video… the inserts that hold the thumbscrew are really loose. The thumbscrew is also loose at certain lengths which has to be adjusted regularly. I say regularly like I’ve had it for awhile but it’s been less than one month. It didn’t slowly start getting loose… it came loose and has progressively gotten worse. It probably wouldn’t be too bad if it wasn’t a precision instrument. Well it is a precision instrument and that means loose parts are a huge problem. It isn’t all bad though. The small compass seems to be kinda decent and would be good for something small, really small. I haven’t used the extension arm mainly because the big compass doesn’t really need more variables to throw everything off. Everything else is pretty basic. I’m always exited when there’s a free sticker and this one came with a mustache one. While that pleases my sticker collection, it’s not enough to gloss over the loose compass. There were a couple of other inconvenience like the lead wouldn’t come out so I could sharpen it. Even after removing the screw that hold it in… I still had to get a pick to get it out. I was excited about the pen attachment because I’ve usually just taped a marker or pen to one of the arms. This was going to be a game changer for inking my drawings. While it does well for pens, it was too small for a sharpie. When I say too small… I was able to force one in it but it took some real effort and a little sandpaper on the sharpie. If only the compass was this tight. There is also a plastic screw on the bottom of the attachment to angle the pen for some reason and it’s awkward to get to. It doesn’t really matter because it’s loose too which makes the compass even more inaccurate. Overall it’s just an unfortunate buy. I had relatively modest expectations but was disappointed when I realized I would have to make constant adjustments and still not get the precision I get from a cheap, flat style compass like I used when I was in school.

Simple to use with some experimentation of the various attachments.
Inexpensive compas that can be used as a beam compass with an attachment arm. Some metal and sturdy enough for lots of years of use I use it for application of oil paint

Great for GCSE
Great product for my son doing his GCSE. Compass with screw adjustment is so much better that the cheap ones with pencils in. well worth the extra money

Fine Product for the Price
I used this in my woodshop to layout circles up to 8 inch radius. This required the extension bar that is included with the kit. It worked well, both on smaller circles and those requiring the extension. This was not an ultra-high precision application though, as I was laying out lines to guide carving. The tools in the kit are of decent quality, especially for the price. I am confident they will hold up over casual use. I don't know about using them for true precision drafting, as the mounting system for the extension and the pencil lead do not seem like they could be counted on the assemble the same way each time to sub-millimeter accuracy. But overall, the kit is fine for general woodworking.

Muy buena calidad
El juego de brújula (compás) acá en México, me pareció de muy buena calidad, además viene con algunos accesorios muy útiles y que no había visto anteriormente. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
