Can the D-Ring on the screw be removed?

Yes, the ring can be removed - it is worse than useless. Remove the screw from the plate - there is a threaded end on the slot. Clamp one end of the ring in a vice and then break it off with a pair of pliers. The ring is cast metal, I assume zinc as it is brittle and weak. The screw is magnetic, so it's steel or iron, but it isn't the strongest looking screw I've seen.

It can be used on a dji ronin sc?

Compatible with 1/4''-20 camera screw, please check the size.

Will this fit aCanon eos 5d camera?
