Bought this product for our 68 pound lab retriever who requests breakfast every morning at 4am like clockwork. To get a bit more sleep, we tried this product; it is working perfectly. Now each morning using the timer I have the feeder dish out 3 portions of kibble a half cup each using the timer (I could not get the portion size to go above a half cup, and he needs 1.5 cups for breakfast). He is a fast eater, so I have the timer set just about 2 minutes apart for each of the 3 portions. My only constructive feedback on the product is that I wish the digital display was backlit so that you could see it in the dark when you might want to change something. Some of the reviews I saw before I purchased talked about this being for smaller animals, so I was nervous about the size of my dog. However, my work around of feeding 3 times in a small timeframe is giving me exactly what I needed--more sleep and a fed/satisfied dog who goes back to sleep after he eats!

July 7, 2024. PETLIBRO Automatic Dog Feeder, 6L Dog Food Dispenser with Timer First, I do not give 5 stars right away. I haven't seen longevity or reliability. I bought two of these feeders - one new and one they had as "used". NOTES The used one was not together like the new one, but everything was there, it was clean, and it works. The single portion size is smaller than my other ones, so two portions are needed for one cat feeding of about 1/8th cup. This is quite good, as it is always easier to add portions when the portions are small. One feeder I have (not this one) has bigger portions and cannot be used as a cat feeder. I like the small portions. PROS: small portion size easy to program for up to four meals Top (reservoir) comes off for cleaning Bowl removes easily for cleaning Desiccant in lid removes moisture - necessary in humidity I am in AZ where that desiccant is not necessary except in monsoon season May use batteries or plug in. I have batteries in place in case power goes out Quiet - only sound of food dropping CONS My cat pushed it over and the lid popped off. May need to add tape as backup. My cats are ********. Your Mileage May Vary (YMMV). This should be called a "small pet feeder" as kibble size is limited to 10 mm, <0.4 in

Makes feeding my cat super easy. I work and can be a hassle to fill her bowl everyday. Plus, she is not kept inside during the day when I'm at work. I have used it both inside and outside. I'm not saying leave it directly exposed to the sun and rain. I place it under the porch when I'm going to be out for quite some time. You can set the feeding for 3 times a day and can set the time and quantity (how much food) for each. I will fill it's container all the way and just refill it every 3-4 weeks. Really good lid and food stays fresh so no issues there. Runs on both D batteries or wall charger. I have both the batteries installed and use the wall charger. If ever the power goes out, I don't have to worry because the batteries keep it powered on. Food tray is removable and made of stainless steel, so very easy to clean if it gets dirty. I've had no issues with it dispensing food or it getting stuck trying to but I don't leave large amounts of food in the tray that could keep it from dispensing either. If there is too much food in the tray, I will pour some back into the container. I've had it for almost 2 years and so far, no issues.

Great item and great price. Easy to set up and many portion and time feeding adjustments. I really like the recording option. Voice recording is a little quiet, but I recorded a bell ringing and now the cats dont bother me at all. they just wait for the bell to ring. large hopper. fill once and good for well over a week.

I thought it was great at first. After the second refill, it would make whirring sounds and I heard pellets hit the bowl, so i thought it was still working fine. Come to find out that it has been giving maybe 2-3 pellets per portion, which was severely underfeeding my dog. Thankfully, I could tell that he was eating less by his droppings, but there was no indication from the feeder that it wasn't working properly. It was cleaned and refilled, and is still not dispensing food properly. I'm not sure if my product is defective, but now I'm wondering how long it's been underfeeding my dog. Scary to think that I nearly starved my dog by using this product. Beware.

Worked well for 14 months then the motor died.

This makes life a little easier when you have a very demanding kitty cat or possibly dog and puts the food out in a very timely manner. It sounds just like you pretty much. When you put your voice recording in the timing is good the portions seem to be very well maintained. The only thing that could make it better is if it had an indicator when the food was getting low I just check it or you can tell because you start getting the little crumbs in it with the food when it is getting low but otherwise it works great.

Bought this to stop my feline from begging for food from humans. Works like a charm.

My cat likes it because he knows that even if he is alone in the house, he will have his 1 portion of dry food 4x a day. I still give him small canned food 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 in the evening. Easy to set-up and voice recording is loud enough to be heard even when he's in the basement or in the second floor. Only thing I noticed is that it becomes 2 minutes late even if I set it up according to real time. I had to adjust the time. But no complains.

Distributeur est presque neuf et tout va très bien jusqu'à présent. Le seul inconvénient, est que mon chat le fait tomber facilement et comme le couvercle ne se barre pas, il mange a volonté.
