Best Jig Saw
I’m extremely impressed with this DeWalt jig saw. The power and precision are outstanding, and it cuts through wood and other materials smoothly without bogging down. After 30 years of old school, this saw surprised me
It’s not often I use a tool that surprises me with its excellent function and that’s exactly what happened when I used this jig saw for the first time. I don’t have a lot of need for a jig saw as I have a couple band saws that can do most of the required work so I have an old corded jig saw that has done the job well enough to not be replaced until this month. I had a task that required fairly robust material that I needed to jig saw out and my old one was not up to the task. I bought this saw a little reluctantly because it’s not a good value for my needs because of limited use. Or at least so I thought until I used it! The ease of operation, speed of cutting heavy materials, and confidence inspiring action literally blew my mind. This is a very recent purchase so I can’t comment on durability but it is well built and exudes typical Dewalt quality so I expect this will last for at least another 30 years. Recommended tool Update; been using this a lot more than my old one the past few months. The variable speed limiter and wide blade selection combined with portability makes this handier than I thought it would be. Can cut fast and in control
