This was a gift for mothers day by my daughter who has just given her boards. Meaning the budget was limited and within that limit she had to find a good and a reliable system . I was totally satisfied with the quality of the system . I mean I know I am not that fussy about what I want , but yes the sound is clear, no jarring notes, ease of operation is well easy.

Working great sound is great woofer is also amazing very reasonable in price. Loved it so far. Only error js bluetooth connection kept on disconnecting if you play it for long time. Over all very good speaker. Good quality in minimal price.

In 3-4 years it stopped working a 2-3 times and had to be repaired as the sound cracks. Akai service is very bad as there is no response for my recent complaint. Very disappointed with this product though the sound quality is good. But what use if it goes faulty again and again. Very bad build quality.

I checked all the reviews before purchasing it, and those who claimed a clear sound were absolutely right. For this price, it is perfect for a medium size room. It gives a high volume range; the lowest volume it is quite loud, and the highest volume barely distorts the sound. Bass is also perfect. Remote simple, and it works fine. Lookwise, exactly like in the picture. If you want a nice sound and a cheap speaker, you should buy this one. Also, initially the display came with a couple of cracks, and we got it exchanged. Again, perfect sound. Mic: I tried it with an old microphone, and its sensitivity was very low. I had to shout to get noise on the speaker. If I try it with another mic, I will update this review. Anyway, the sound is so impressive that I am giving 5 stars.

The speaker performance is normal.. About it’s clarity 60% marks could be given. Hype created so-far about the super boss effect is far from truth. Akai brands sharp sound production is nowhere near its real which the company was boasting of. Better products are available off the shelf that produce more loveable melody for the audiophiles for a competitive price in the market.. decision would be yours at the end of the day..make sure you are putting your hands on the right stuff..

At first look the pros and cons Pros 1. Very sturdy and tight packaging 2. Built quality good 3. Basic minimal no hassles buttons 4. Connects to Bluetooth easily. 5. Decent sound clarity and bass 6. Minimal distortion at highest volume Cons:- 1. Compared to claimed wattage, sound is less. 2. Footing is a bit wobbly. The leg pads could have been better placed. 3. Not suitable for rooms bigger than 150 sqft. 4. Remote buttons confusing a bit. 5. The running LEDon the volume button looks unattractive. Overall a good package for the cost. Akai should have given a pair of speakers instead of one which could have increased the overall flexibility and experience of use.
