Headband is small :'(
I love this headset! I'm coming from a set of astro a50 gen2's. The astros headband is slightly bigger than these but give me massive headaches :/. These barely fit on my head. So I wish the band had a few more clicks left for adjustment. Anyways sound wise they are decent. Pretty detailed sounding although they lack in the bass department. For reference I use fostex 6xx mahogany's from drop. They don't sound as good as my fostex but they sound better than my Astros. Everything sounds clear without being exaggerated. I love being able to take calls and still have audio from whatever the dongles plugged in to. The microphone blows my astro a50's mic out of the water. I finally sound clear vs sounding like a walkie talkie. Construction is great. Mostly metal and very sturdy. Ear cups feel great although they can get your ears pretty warm. Some more breathable pads may help here. The carrying case is ok. Wish it was a little bigger so putting away the headphones didn't require shoving them in. But it was my choice to use the case. I do appreciate having magnets on the flap for it And the little inner pouch for wires, dongle, and mic. Definitely would pick it up used vs paying full price though.

Corsair support is awesome
UPDATE: Reached out to Corsair support even though it was out of warranty and they replaced it for free. 10/10 support. Not worth. The battery life after a few months went down to 8-12 hours. Had to replace the ear cuffs 8 months in because they broke off. And I don’t do any crazy things while wearing my headset. Most I do is walk down some stairs while wearing it. And 16 months in the microphone stopped working entirely. Replaced the mic. Still doesn’t work. All I get is some random intermittent crackling feedback when I move or speak into the mic, even when the headset isnt connected to anything. I had the old model and it was really good. Lasted for years. This one just hasn’t been it. The battery life is worse, the range is worse, and the quality of parts.. is worse

after 10 months of use
The Corsair Virtuoso XT is a very well-built gaming headset with some standout strengths. Build quality is exceptional, and it feels premium in hand. The microphone is easily the best I’ve used on a gaming headset, comparable to some $60–$70 desk microphones, which is impressive. My main complaint is the stock earpads. They are too small, causing my ears to touch the drivers, which can be uncomfortable. However, the earpads are very easy to swap, so this isn’t a major issue. I ended up buying several replacements without any trouble. Out of the box, the default tuning lacks bass and sub-bass, but the Corsair EQ software and Dolby Atmos support work very well. The Dolby Access surround included with the headset is one of the few virtual surround solutions that actually feels useful. In games, latency is very low, and directional audio is excellent—you can clearly distinguish footsteps and positioning. They are a bit expensive for what they offer, and the sound quality could be better at full price. That said, if you can find them on sale, they are definitely worth it—especially if you value comfort, customization, and microphone quality over pure audiophile sound.

Comfortable and High Quality
Comfortable, not too heavy on the head/ears, clear crisp sound, no connection issues, volume control is great and the microphone picks up everything. Great for the gamer in your life. Would buy again!

Wireless issues, poor RMA, cracked microphone
PROS: Fit is perfect, cushion is comfortable Bluetooth while using wireless works great Removeable mic sounds great Audio sounds great CONS: Wireless connection issues Poor RMA process RMA Sent back with a mic that has physical defects/peeling Love these headphones, but the amount of problems i'm having with them is brutal. If i use them wirelessly, they cut out constantly. so i leave them plugged in constantly, which is bull, because i paid almost 300 bucks for some wireless gaming headphones, i should be able to use them wirelessly. So i contacted support, which determined i needed to do an RMA. BUT they made me send my headphones in FIRST. so then I was out of headphones for 2 weeks while they verify and send new headphones back. I got the RMA Headphones back, and within a week, the microphone is externally cracked. Still works great, but why do i have 300 dollar headphones that can't handle normal wear and tear? I am incredibly disappointed, and will likely not go with Corsair for audio. Which is sad, because the rest of my gaming peripherals are Corsair.

Excellent features and sound
I bought this as a replacement for my old Sennheisers and so far they are blowing them out of the water. The sound quality is superb. The highs and mids are crystal clear with no tinny artifacts. The lows are rich and full. Out of the box, the profile is a tad bit flat, but the EQ in the app allows you to easily remedy that. These are very comfortable as well, which will be important for long gaming sessions. They aren't too heavy, but aren't too light either. They grip nicely but don't put too much pressure on your head/ears. The earcups are plenty wide so your entire ear fits inside, giving you a nice seal. This helps with noise cancellation and also helps with sound quality. And let's not forget the mic! These have the best mic I have ever heard on a headset. It's unbelievably clear and is comparable to many free standing mics. They don't call it "broadcast quality" for nothing. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. The only real negative I can share is that they used fake leather on the earcups. Fake leather doesn't breathe and can cause your ears to get hot after a while. Plus, it's prone to eventually flaking/cracking. Thankfully, there are brands like Wicked Cushions that make awesome replacement earcups for this headset so you can go that route if you don't want the fake leather.

An okay headset with some big compromises depending on your use case.
Was looking to replace an old wireless headset with something that had more features. I'm a Linux first kind of guy, so this will be from this perspective. ----Pros: Build quality feels pretty good. Time of course will tell how it stands up, but the rotating earcups were stiff and felt substantial. Adjustable headband adjusted easily but not too easily, with numbers to help remember your preferred sizing. Comfortable earcups out of the box. I did also buy memory foam pads from WC but I'll keep the factory ones on, I think, until they start to shed. I wear glasses and no pain or pressure points at all. Clamping force might be a hair too light, but I'd prefer this over busting up my specs. The mic quality is actually really good. I waited a very long time to replace my Logitech G930 because it felt like for a long while manufacturers were deliberately attaching terrible mics, so it's nice that this one is decent. It's detachable so if you want to use a dedicated mic and mic stand, there's no issues. The headset was smart enough to tell my OS there was no microphone attached when I didn't have it attached, so worries about null mics. Sound hardware quality is quite good. I don't drive my headphones very loud at all, but I feel like the range is there. Doesn't seem particularly flat, but I don't intend to use this for critical monitoring, just "fun" while traveling and using a laptop. Bluetooth supports SBX-XQ. Also does old SBX, AAC, AptX and AptX-HQ. There's a hidden CON here, though, see the second con on that list for more. USB cable feels robust and is sleeved. The dongle has the same styling and has the same nice grippy plastic texture the tip of on the plug. ----Mixed: Analog cable is notably less nice than the USB cable. The in-line control box feels super cheap. The 1/8" TRRRS that plugs into the headset has a "flag" on the wire instead of something molded into the plug or, you know, don't use that connector. I bought this model for the two different wireless techs, Bluetooth and dongle, not the RGB. I don't like RGB and wish it had a button to just turn off the Corsair advertisement light show. Currently ckb-next only supports the Virtuoso RGB SE, not the XT (this device). I don't know if it will stay that way, but you should be aware. This may be related to the first CON listed below. The mic has an LED on it to show when it's being used, and it turns off when nothing is pulling signal from it. Very smart. BUT the LED light is way too bright. ----Cons: The wired USB connectivity has no support in Linux, kernel 6.6.10. I wouldn't expect icue workarounds until this works, but more importantly, USB wired support is simply not happening. Nyqist is a thing so it's a bit of puffery so I don't care about "96kHz" sample rates, to be sure, but the only wired fallback is analog so you'll have to BYO DAC which is an extra expense. Or use your laptop's jack. It puts out a nice clean signal. Maybe. Despite advertising Bluetooth connectivity, and current Bluetooth definitely being able to support stereo output with simultaneous mono input, this device DOES NOT support that. You get mono output and mono input. Glad at least the mono output is split between the drivers equally, but that's a big deal for me. This works with the dongle, but, I bought a headset with dual wireless connection options, not one option and a gimped second option. The Dolby ATMOS support proudly advertised isn't really. You get a card that tells you to download something from the Microsoft store. That, for obvious reasons, isn't happening. Sure, this is a headset with only two drivers so ATMOS positioning is just emulated. But if you care about this, you will get scammed. Also, this suggests no Mac support. Your game implements positional 3d audio, right? Maybe. Another huge con is, interestingly, the included bag. Don't get me wrong, it's very high quality. Magnetic close. Small and discreet Corsair nameplate, nothing too gauche. Inner pocket. Outer pocket. Nice quality cloth. So, why a con? It's USELESS for this headset! It does not fit in the bag and it's not even close. The inner pocket also doesn't hold the detached microphone without spilling out of that. Overall, I'm planning on keeping this but I feel like there are deliberate moves by Corsair to keep this headset from being too good. I can't help but feel disappointed.

Great Headset, High Quality
As someone who does a lot of work and gaming, I was looking for a versatile wireless headset that could serve all my needs. I found that in the Corsair Virtuoso. Straight out of the box the quality is very apparent from the packaging to the accessories that come with it. I was really surprised with the fabric storage bag. The battery life is great, and I can walk almost across my entire house while still maintaining signal. It pairs well with other Bluetooth devices and you can switch pretty easily between your computer and phone. After two years of use, the ear padding is flawless, which I can’t say about other headsets I’ve purchased in the past. If I ever needed another headset, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this pair again.

Better Than Ever, But Not Out-of-the-box
I have around 16 years of audio production and engineering history within my personal life. I used to own a pair of Sennheiser HD 700’s (RIP), I currently own a pair of Apple Airpods Max; and now these. So I think I can, humbly, say that I know a tiny bit on these topics. Upon opening the box, the packaging is great and includes everything you might need along with an excellent carry-case. The headphones are light and seem really well built, with premium materials. One of my biggest concerns when buying headphones is clamping force (because unfortunately, I wear glasses). I was pleasantly surprised that they have significantly less clamping force than the Apple Airpods Max. This is absolutely great because it doesn't squish my head like a vice. I tried using a custom ear cup set by “Wicked Cushions” that were thicker, which was a bit too harsh on the ears with additional clamping, so I replaced them back to the stock cups. The quality is mid-tier out of the box - not great; Not until you get into iCue or activate Dolby Atmos. You do this by going into Dolby Access and then customize your own EQ, and raise the low+high end frequencies. At that point, they sound great. The wireless connection is great; the dual-wireless connection is even greater. I absolutely love being able to chat with my friends on Discord while playing on my PS5, or being able to answer my phone at the same time. It’s a feature I never knew I needed and now that I have it, I’m not sure I’d want to go without it. The battery life seems good; I’ve been able to get whole working days without needing to critically charge them. Would I recommend these? Absolutely. Would I pay $300 for them? It's a lot of money and there are other options out there that are just as competitive. I really do like these.

Worth the Price
After reviewing more than 8 gaming headset I closed down to Virtuosos XT due to the following reasons 1) I did not want to pay hell amount of money for a plastic product. The built quality is really good 2) It has all the connections needed, USB, Bluetooth and Wired, one headset for all purpose 3) Not just a gaming headset, it can be used for daily music and office use too 4) The mic is detachable and is of exceptionally good quality and sound 5) comes with pouch to keep it safe 6) not too heavy not too light does not cause a headache like other heavier headphones Only drawback I found was the earpads, I had to get aftermarket WC gel infused as the ones provided are leather or artificial leather not sure but not padded enough and does not feel comfortable

Maybe use cloth other than plastics
Cushing tears apart over time. I had 2 and both had the same issue.

Melhor fone que já comprei!
Sensacional.
