All Purpose Classic Orchid Mix (Standard Bag)

Great product. Shipping was fast, and included extra label and clips. I repotted 6 orchids using this mix, and it was enough for the different sized pots. Mix wasn't dried out like many others, holds moisture well while providing air flow for the roots. Highly recommend this product in addition to the slotted pots by the same seller. Will use again.

I had five phalaenopsis orchids that were just bland and weak. I re-potted them all into this mixture and about 6 weeks later, they were thick and healthy. Really did not change anything other than the potting mixture when I re-potted them, so I will attribute their resurgence to this mixture.

I got this to top off my orchids as they out grew of their pots. The coconut husks chunks were large - 1/2" to 3/4" cubes. The white pumice stones and grey lava stone chunks were very big as well. The parts of this substrate were entirely too large for my liking.

The mix looks perfect .... can hardly wait to repot! The package arrived within the week of order - Thank you!

Excellent mix, should make my orchids happy, just would like more quantity for the price but a great mix.

I started my review and something happened and I was kicked out so I'm trying again. I am growing orchids in many different mediums to see what happens and how they develop. So I went to many resources to find what the best orchid mix was to use. I have success with clay ball and water technique. Even success with full water. Before this product I had tried several other mediums and just never got the results I did with my cleaner methods. That was when I went in search for the best. I buy struggling orchids near the end of their blooming because who wants to experiment with something they pay a lot for and orchids are so easy to revive and very difficult to kill. The orchid in the first photo was pretty and green (wish I had taken photos) one week after repotting in rePotme it began to show signs of stress. I was very hesitant when I did it because the mixture was so chunky and big and I had a feeling it would not hold enough moisture for for my small orchid. I was right as you can see the core has begun to turn yellow and the bottom leaf is gone very quickly. My opinion is this medium is only meant to be used on well established orchids with lots of long healthy roots.
