Are the Inside and outside that much different?

I may have misunderstood your question in my previous response.  The indoor version has different components though some overlap.  The games on the cards are very different.  The outdoor version has sponges, frisbees, water balloons, and squirt guns.  One of the games are "duck duck goose" using sponges to "tag" someone.   Another is playing tag with sponges.  Another is using the squirt gun to knock cups over, fill a cup, and play tag.  The indoor version has games like balancing dice on a tongue depressor or using chopsticks to turn dice over and line them up 1,2,3,4,5,6.  Another game is using straws to blow pom poms across the floor.  A bunch of games using ping pong balls.  In other words, the game play for the Minute of Fun is INDOOR while the game play for Minute of Fun OUTDOOR is decidedly OUTDOOR!  I hope that this addresses your question.  We are seeing people order BOTH very often.

What all do you need besides whats in the box already ?

Thank you for the excellent question and apologies that it was not in the listing itself.  We will add an infographic to assist others!

The parts that are not in the set should all be things people have at home or can readily get.  They were not included because their size or cost would have made the set unaffordable, so we had to balance the ease of use with our customers with the costs. 
 We hope that you understand.  They are:
* buckets (for some of the water games)
* ball (to play 4 square and games like that)
* flag (for capture the flag)
* hula hoop
* spray paint (for a single game similar to Twister)
* water paint (for a single game)
* cardboard box (to cut up and use for a couple of games)
* a tee shirt (for a single game)
* water weenies (for a single game)
* bandana or small rope (for 3-legged race)
* sprinkler
* kid's matchbox car (for a single game)
* candle (for a single game)
* apples

I hope that this addresses your question and illustrates why they were not included (especially the apples)!

Does the 272 include the 237 version in it as well?

No …272does not include all of 237.  We had a party with 30 kids and 237 worked really well.  All items you need are included in box. Buy your own balloons though.
