I've been using hairclips like these for years rather than ponytails. I drop them a lot. I sometimes fidget with them. And so sometimes they break and need replaced. I liked the quantity I received in this package so I don't have to search for them. I keep some in the car, some in the bathroom, some in my office, and one in the kitchen. These hold my hair as well as any other similar clip I've used. They seem to be made well as none have broken yet - despite my frequent mishandling of them.

Don't really work for the way I wanted to put them in my thinner hair - but they are excellent clips. If you have thinner hair, I would pass - if you have medium or thicker hair - they would be great. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. These say medium size but they are HUGE. They should say size large in the description. Other than that the product was on time and in good shape so I gave it 4 stars. I took away one star for saying they are medium size when they are huge. Make sure you know the measurements of the clip you need. It turns out that I needed the 1” size but not the mini clips. I returned them and ordered the 1” size.

Perfect size clips for all hair lengths. Fairly sturdy and good price.

My search goes on. I have used the clip closest to the metal coin for years. I know its made by Goody & Scunni but they've disappeared from local grocery & drug stores. Don't make the mistakes I did. The far left is Goody "mini" - only for an infants hair. Next is Goody small claw clip. Then my last clip which has to be called Goody MEDIUM CLAW clip but I don't have the packaging. I've used them for 5+ years and the tongs break if you drop on hard floor or keep in purse & something heavy hits it. I have extremely thick hair & it holds an updo perfect. Far Right is this item I took a chance on. They are huge & not very elegant. I hope this saves other shoppers from making the wrong choice. Amazon, you may want to stock the Medium Claw Clips from Goody or Scunni. If I remember correctly, they come in a 6 pack of multiple colors.

I’ve bought several different types of these claw clips from the stores, and these are the strongest and thickest I’ve found so far. They are thick hard plastic. They seem extremely durable. I have medium thick hair, shoulder length. I like to pull my hair up in a messy bun for work. These held my hair very well. I also clip and stow them on my purse or bag. The claws haven’t broken off like other thin fragile ones have. These are great! highly recommend. Plus, you get a lot of them for the money. What a great value!
