Our Coleman Mach 15 died on us. I found a good deal on a scratch and dent Furrion 14,500 BTU and was looking for an adapter to use our existing thermostat etc. This did the job beautifully. All I needed was the wiring harness. I was able to reuse all my existing parts from the Coleman. In terms of wiring all you do is plug the harness into the connector on the Furrion and plug it into the existing control box from the Coleman. Then a couple of screws to screw in the control box. I had to cut down the foam insulation piece maybe an inch that divides in the air intake from the where the cold air comes out from the Coleman. Of course getting the new AC on the roof and the old one down is the hard part of the job.

This doesn’t convert the ac from an existing dometic unit to the 18btu chill box. I couldn’t find where it states that clearly. Don’t waste your time.

Used to install the new furrion AC on a domestic ceiling kit. It worked well.

Had to cut the included bolts 1" per instruction, but this was the easiest install using my existing coleman thermostat and wiring. Plug and play - I used a dremel to cut the bolts, and the rest worked perfectly. I replaced my Coleman Mach 13.5 (48208C969) with a Furrion Chill 15k unit
