Bluetooth hands-free interface Toyota Lexus 6+6

Fitted to my 2006 Toyota Avensis. Had to unplug the existing CD Changer (6+6 port as it’s referenced) and it is literally plug and play. Sound is excellent and phone connection works well. Able to use the controls on the steering wheel to answer / end calls and change tracks from Music App by using the up down track button! Really pleased with the device and this is the 2nd time I’ve installed a BlueMusic device in a car - trust this brand!

I’ve been searching for years to find a way to add Bluetooth, reliably, to my Suzuki Swift 2012 model. It was only when I found out that the 2011+ models don’t use Suzuki connectors but ones for a Toyota Corolla that I found this device as it uses the Toyota 6+6 connector which is compatible. I pulled off the top part of the centre console revealing two screws, pulled the radio forward and hinged it out, unclipped by pulling up. I didn’t remove it completely just felt on the back for the socket and plugged the module in then reassembled loosely to test, I put it back together properly later. It was as easy as firing up the radio, connecting to the new Bluetooth connection and hitting the CD button a couple of times. Sound quality is excellent and in call audio is great too. I positioned the mic on the steering wheel stalk behind the actual wheel. There are two volume controls on your phone, one for music audio, adjust that to 80% and another that you can only adjust while on a call, set that to around 70%. The radio will always be the master volume, you only need to adjust these input levels the once (unless you fiddle with them later) Super easy, very neat, great quality a problem solved and I’m much happier.

It works on my 2007 Lexus RX400h, not TOO difficult to install following the instructions and cross referencing with a YouTube video where they installed something similar. BUT you need to buy the Y adapter separately on my car which I got so budget another £10 for that.

It is very easy to install and is working perfect for Lexus RX 400H, 2008. The Bluetooth connection is stable and the sound quality in the Mark Levinson audio systems is just brilliant. I can recommend to every one!

This is actually a rebranded chinese product made for toyota. Can get this way cheaper at those sites. Besides that it works awesome with all of the controls working if not better than a stock bluetooth stereo. Can sometime struggle when fed with high quality music on spotify.

Simple to fit and works brilliantly. Mine required an additional y-adapter, as my Lexus rx400 has the Sat nav plugged into the same socket. Does not interfere with the normal functioning of anything else. Blootooth hands free works fine, so I didn’t bother to install the microphone

Bluetooth works really good on my rx400h. I didn't Install microphone as I can connect my phone for calls on car and audio on Bluetooth. Its really easy to install and have a good sound quality.

Installation : 1) soit vous faites tomber l'autoradio d'origine (la grosse console centrale cd/cassette + ventilation) et c'est long et assez contraignant... 2) soit vous faites la méthode facile (avec des doigts assez longs et fins) et vous passez par la boite à gants. Celle-ci s'enlève facilement avec une vis sur le piston côté passager puis en déboitant le fond. Appairage : Pas de mot de passe ou autre, juste découverte et appairage. Ecoute : Pour lancer la musique, appuyez sur le bouton CD (2x) pour passer à l'option "'chargeur de CD" et c'est parti ! Le son est vraiment propre, pas de perte apparente, et c'est un plaisir de pouvoir réécouter ma musique depuis mon téléphone !!! Petit bonus : Les commandes au volant pour changer de piste sont fonctionnelles, le bouton de l'autoradio également. Résumé : un peu cher, mais fonctionnel et bien plus pratique que de retourner aux années 2000 avec une pochette à CDs !

Ho acquistato la versione con plug 6+6 e corredata di microfono da montare sulla mia Toyota Yaris D4D del 2006, con autoradio W58824. Ricevuto in una settimana. Il montaggio dell'apparecchio in sé è semplicissimo, basta seguire una qualunque guida su YT sullo smontaggio dell'autoradio. Un po' più laboriosa l'installazione del microfono, che richiede un po' di manualità e qualche attrezzo. La mia Yaris è la versione con airbag su tetto, montanti e sotto al volante, quindi va scollegato il polo negativo della batteria per evitare di attivare un sensore e fare esplodere un airbag mentre si passa il cavo del microfono. Il mio consiglio è di montare scheda e microfono al volo, vedere se tutto funziona e, dopo, scollegare la batteria (polo NEGATIVO) e procedere al cablaggio definitivo. Essendo il cavo lungo solo 2mt, ho installato il mic dietro il parasole guidatore, fissandolo con due spilli che, dopo aver forato la spugnetta del mic, lo "inchiodano" sulla tappezzeria del tetto (è il miglior modo per evitare che il mic capti i rumori e le vibrazioni dell'auto). Il montante, dopo avere scollegato la batteria, va smontato dopo avere tolto la guarnizione dello sportello. A quel punto il cavo prosegue fino alla plancia, dietro al portamonete. Poi, per quanto mi riguarda, per fare arrivare il cavo alla radio, essendo la mia auto dotata di airbag anche sotto al volante (quello per le ginocchia), ho proceduto aiutandomi con un fil di ferro che, inserito dal portamonete, ho fatto passare SOPRA al piantone dello sterzo, e ho preso dall'altro lato, infilando la mano nel vano della radio. A quel punto, legando il jack del microfono al fildiferro con un po' di nastro, l'ho tirato fino alla cavità della radio, e il gioco era fatto. L'apparecchio funziona benissimo, l'accoppiamento è rapido, e i comandi al volante funzionano, sia per cambiare brano, sia per alzare/abbassare il volume, che per aprire e chiudere le chiamate (tasto su per rispondere, tasto giù per rifiutare o riagganciare). La qualità del vivavoce è molto buona, meglio di molte auto moderne che montano il vivavoce di serie. Note negative: 1. Cavo del microfono un po' corto, fosse stato 3mt anziché 2, con il cavo si poteva arrivare alla plafoniera, ma nulla vieta di montare una prolunga da un metro e arrivarci comunque. 2. Il volume di riproduzione è parecchio più basso rispetto a quello di radio e cd. Bisogna ricordarsene, per non farsi esplodere le orecchie. 3. Se si è in chiamata, e si spegne l'auto, o la si accende, la chiamata viene chiusa automaticamente, non viene commutata sull'audio del telefono. Conclusioni: per il prezzo sono soddisfattissimo, e consiglio vivamente l'acquisto.
