Not as good as the original Utsumi comb but a decent substitute if you’re unable to find it. I don’t think it’s actual carbon.

Amazing comb and for the price its simply the best. The size is perfect and it has like a lip thing on the bottom of the comb giving space for cutting. I only wish the grip was maybe a bit bigger. Its a smooth cut and the comb is not too thick meaning its perfect to cut tight to the head. The comb also doesnt carry much static which is a plus !

This is great for clipper over comb due to it’s sturdy material.

This is just what I needed for home haircuts. A big comb to use with the clippers for blending and tapering. The comb is a good size and feels good in the hand. Very useful. No complaints so far.

Other plastic combs can comb through the hair without worry, but since this is a harder material which makes increases the heat resistance 40x, you will have to be care when you comb through the,hair so you won't stab at the scalp. These are definitely STURDY. I use this to blend with shear over-comb and clipper OVER-COMB and it picks everything up with no problem. HYOUJIN, if you see this, a small silicone/rubber comfort grip could make this better. 5+ Stars for What I use it for. I haven't used it in an application that requires heat, so I can't speak on that. The texture of the material and the flatter surface is what impressed me. I have another large plastic comb with a wide base like this one but has a slight convex curve to it that doesn't lay it flat down like this one from HYOUJIN. I wonder what other products they have. But then again, this might just be just a generic comb from an international supplier.
