Great kit for testing gold and platinum. Easy results.

Like most families we have a few bits and pieces of jewelry, unpaired earrings, broken chains, etc. that have little value before but with the price of gold at all time high they are now worth testing and selling. The test kit is excellent, the solutions fresh and works great; at least for the gold which I used. I am assuming the same is true with the silver and platinum solutions. I’m not a jeweler but the kit is easy to use and seems to do what it is designed for which is all that matters. The price is very reasonable and the delivery was very prompt.

I first tested a trinket and it showed no gold. Then I tested an old ring I'm thinking of selling. Used 10K solution first showed it has gold, then 14K and it showed it had gold so I tried 18k and it dissolved so did not have that much gold. Great to know the ring is 14k so worth more.

Directions were just a little bit hard for me to understand or follow but I am a little slow LOL but it seem to be a great product

I had a hard time actually differentiating the different types of gold using this. It does come with everything needed and what they use at the jewelry stores i Just couldn't see the colors based on the chart. I.think the product is likely food, for someone who's familiar with how to actually look at the results. With that, likely good value for the money.

Arrived with a leaking bottle which was obvious with the staining on the internal packaging - with drops of acid through the bag and on the other bottles. Due to travel and other things I didn’t get to open the package until today (a month after arrival) and I have lost out on the return window. What a scam for $75 AUD and have no avenue to escalate. I don’t feel comfortable having leaking bottles in my house

Works well, well packaged, Everything has a safety seal on it, Good quantity, I could not see anyone using up the entire amount before the acid went stale (6 months or so). Tested plenty of gold with it and it has never deceived me. The stones could be a bit more abrasive as they are very smooth and sometimes with 10k it takes substantial force to get good marks but other than that this is good stuff.

Works fine, tested on old jewelry with stamps.
