GREAT Mobility Device for Temporary or Permanent Movement Needs--This is the TALL Version
This is an EXCELLENT option for people who need some stability assistance in order to enhance their mobility. My husband has developed a neurological condition that's necessitated occasional use of a device like this and when he needs to use it, it is ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS and has helped us prevent several falls. He uses it in the house when needed and it's helped him "motor" out in public to a degree he's been unable to do for a couple of years and for that, I'm very grateful. It's very easy to steer, not wobbly at all, feels very solid, and gives him the extra confidence he needs when necessary. We haven't taken it on any long trips yet, but for visits to the doctor's office and physical therapy, it more than paid for itself the first time we used it. He was able to navigate through a parking lot, across an outdoor skyway, into an elevator and through several wings of an office building with ease. In the past, this would have been an "impossible journey," but this rollator has made it safe and easy for him and stress-free for me. The tall version works well for him (6'3") and he's even lowered the "handlebars" a click or two below their maximum setting. He says the brakes are responsive but not too tight, with just the right amount of "grab." It has a sturdy canvas seat in case a rest break's needed & the storage pouch is large and accommodates kindles, phones, and even (at home) a curious cat. The color's a vibrant, attractive red, which he loves. The wheels do not interfere with his gait in any way and I, as the "car loader in chief" appreciate the fact that this is easy to fold, lock, and lift into our car for transport. It basically "folds" in half for transport (just pull up on a handle built into the canvas seat & it will easily collapse for storage--there's a little red plastic "lock" that will keep it in the folded position). This "folding feature" also lets you safely navigate through more narrow doorways, when needed (pulling up on the handle slightly will allow the frame to "shrink" and inch or two or three, till you get through the doorway. Then just push back down on the frame to fully lock it back into its usual width). It's a really nice looking rollator: sturdy, well-finished and well worth the price we paid, in my opinion. The wheels roll well on pavement, carpet, and tile. We haven't taken it off-roading, yet : ) Most Enthusiastically Recommended! P.S. One quick tip: after one of our trips to the doctor's office, I noticed a sound that sounded like a dry bearing on one of the wheels. When I checked for the source of the sound, I discovered that a small portion of the silver brake cable had slightly folded in, toward the tire, when I'd loaded it into the car. That was the source of the noise; just a very gentle bend of the cable away from the affected wheel fixed the issue and eliminated the sound immediately. Just thought I'd mention it, in case others hear a noise and don't realize how easy it is to fix. Unless you used to fix your own bike as a kid like I did, you might not know what to do : ) ---- Have a question about this Nitro? Just leave a Comment & I'll be happy to help you, if I can.

The best thing since sliced bread
These are GREAT! My back pain kicks up badly when I have to walk even moderate distances. This Rollator allows me to stand up for much longer periods of time and just bracing on the sturdy handles keeps the "gravity factor" from limiting mobility. The seat works perfectly if I get caught in a long check-out line. It's super easy to fold and unfold and not too terribly heavy so lifts into the back of the SUV easily. AND it acts as a mule. For a while I lived in an apartment with detached garages. I could unload even a very large grocery order using the seat, the front basket and hanging plastic bags from the handles and get everything across the driveway, up the ramp and into the apartment in one load. And going down a long hall in a medical building, I can hang my (too heavy) handbag from a handle and not have to lug it along. It's like having a little mule cart, AND I could still use the handles to keep me upright and not in back pain. I have TWO of these, now, one lives in the car permanently, the other in the house to use when I need to move a bunch of stuff out to the garage. Best money I ever spent!

Fantastic!! Worth the money!!
I picked this out for my mom, 86 years old, who is starting to have a lot of trouble with back pain, weak legs and difficulty getting out of standard height chairs. She is a tall lady (5โ8 with long legs), and this tall model is perfect for her. The first walker she had was a basic Drive rollator (much less expensive) but much lower to the ground and narrower, and she only used it once because she couldnโt easily get out of it without two people assisting her. She especially likes this Nitro tall model because the higher than normal seat makes it is easy for her to get out of. It steers very easily, and turns on a dime. She can drive it across grass and rocky paths with no difficulties, thanks to the large front tires. The color and hidden brake cables make it much more fashionable and youthful looking than traditional walkers too. It has allowed her to go places that she normally wouldโve turned down going such as an apple picking place due to there being nowhere to sit down (or seats that are too low for her to get out of) . I would say that it has helped her regain mobility and independence. Worth every penny! We call it her Ferrari due to the beautiful cherry red color!! As the daughter of the user, I love how easy it is to fold and lift into the car. Not mentioned in the features listed on Amazon is a metal clip that locks the unit together for very easy storage. We went to a restaurant the other day, and it easily fit into a small area near our table in the folded position. It unfolds with great ease as well. I would highly recommend this model to persons who need it or to adult children who are worried about their parents falling/mobility.

FANTASTIC ROLLATOR!!!!!
WOW!! This Rollator is unbelievably fabulous! My husband tried other ones, which were incredibly hard to put together, too narrow, not tall enough, etc. This came 'good to go' right out of the box! NO assembly required period! It is lightweight, wide enough and tall enough for my 6'4" husband. It is really a lifesaver. Not to mention.... it looks pretty cool. I have no problem putting it in the trunk or getting it out. My husband feels very secure walking and sitting in it. He had been falling quite a few times, so this truly will save his life. I can not tell you enough how wonderful this Rollator is...seriously. Very satisfied and happy with this purchase!! We just bought another one for the house. We will leave one in the trunk of our car and one in the house. We got this idea from someone else's review. Thanks! Great idea...less lugging around. Again, 2nd one came ready to go and early! We LOVE these Rollators by Drive!!

GREAT PRODUCT - DON'T HESITATE!
I wanted to leave a review in case anyone else was in doubt about spending a couple of hundred dollars on a rolling walker - especially if your health situation may be temporary, so you feel this may not be something worth investing in. I also waffled on this. But I just couldn't bear the thought of hunching over one of those cheap metal frame walkers. My health issues are such that I needed something I could use in the house as well as outside, so I bit the bullet and went for this. I can only say, this walker has made my life, and dealing with my health issues, SOOOO much easier. The handlebars are adjustable, so they can be raised high enough that even a 6' 4' person like my husband feels comfortable using it. The seat is sturdy and higher than a standard chair seat, so I use it all the time at my computer desk (brakes on, of course!) rather than strain my back and knees in a regular height chair. It rolls beautifully, is easy to negotiate through rooms and doorways, and folds quickly for storage or putting in the car. It comes with a handy little removeable mesh tote bag with zipper, too. Another reviewer complained that the bag was see-through, but you'd have to really TRY to see through this bag - not sure why that even matters, but please don't consider that one thing a deal breaker. The only issue I have, and others with low arm strength will want to know is, at 17 lbs, it isn't exactly lightweight and easy to move in and out of the car, but many of us with long-term disabilities are not hoisting our own stuff in and out of cars anyway. This is a great product and very well made. I'm glad I bought it.

This is fabulous
I love love love it. It enables me to even go on trails. My first one lasted 6 years. Still worked but tires split. I purchased 2 more one 3 years ago to keep in the car. When the oldest one needed to be replaced I purchased this one I keep one in the car and one in my shed to walk from my house. The one I bought 3 years ago went touring with me exploring ruins. I really thought it would be finished business but it held up beautifully. Downfalls. The mesh bag in the front seems to tear easily. On my older one I repaired it. Expensive to replace. Only other problem is it's hard to get in and out of my trunk. I always have to lower the arms. I keep one of the smaller type walkers in my trunk. This one I keep in my suv. Folds easily isn't hard for me to lift and fits beautifully. Also you can just slide it out. Easy peasy. Downfalls I can live with. It also comes completely assembled

Almost Perfect
This is a great walker, especially the tall model for us tall guys. I no longer have to use my walker stooped over with my back aching. The large wheels and well done mounting make it very easy to maneuver, particularly on rough surfaces. My wife and I love the way it so easily folds so flat, making it convenient to fold flat for stowage. It even fits nicely stowed vertically behind the front seats. Braking seems solid and excellent, including for "parking". I especially love the seating compared to my existing rollator with has a flat hard plastic seat cover that's just too damn slippery and precarious for my taste. I do have to say I fell in love with the offered in red. (Ferrari red?) It sure brightens me up! (Which I can really use!) The one darn "negative" is the stowage, which is located at the "back" of the seat, below the backrest. The "Drive" is a very different design from most. Cross zipper is not that easy to reach and operate; and stowage awkward to access. I guess I'm spoiled by the setup on my current rollator, where I flip up the hinged the seat to get to the stowage basket, which is completely removable with an easy-access handle. I did discover the bag releases in a couple of seconds to carry with you, but also to turn it around so the zipper is much closer. Still, I wish "Drive" or an after-market would come up with a larger accessory bag for shopping, etc to add to this otherwise great design. All in all, I love it!

Love it
Smooth, sturdy and doesnโt look like your grandmaโs walker. Iโm only 50 and if Iโm gonna have to use a walker, I want it to look good too. This checks that box off for sureโฆ the white stitching on the leather gives it that high-quality look and feel. It being Carbon fiber, it not only looks cool, but itโs also extremely light which is a huge plus. Love it and completely worth the money.

Well designed and well build
Awesome, large wheels which are a must, when oneโs health is compromised, you need the proper equipment, this is it! It helped to overcome a health issue, where I was perfectly healthy, and within 6 days I was unable to walk. This unit was one of many things that brought me back to full health. Itโs very easy to steer, go over curbs etc.

This is the walker of walkers
Words cannot describe the difference this has made in my beloved wife's life. It is so very light and it ride is amazing, the ride is smooth no matter what the condition of the ground is. Her ability to move and lift the walker has given her a new confidence in her life and attitude. The design is truly well thought out and they have kept in mind who they were designing this item for, handicap people. Yes, I know the price is up there but my wife's happiness and her ability are very important to her and of course to me, her husband. To know that she can go shopping or to friends for visits without the struggle she had before is beyond words. We are not well off, but with the Amazon payment plan we were able to purchase this walker for my beautiful wife and now that we have had it over 3 months, we are most appreciative for this opportunity by Amazon to be able to buy it and above all to GOD for providing the wisdom to the persons responsible for this walkers creation, thank you LORD for Your blessings to us through this company and through Amazon.
