A 6 pack of the LifeStraw Go replacement carbon filters from LifreStraw. An incredible price in comparison to buying them direct from the manufacturer. The recommendation is to replace these every 26 gallons or 100 liters but I use my bottle as my every day drinking bottle and I fill it with filtered water, so I am being especially safe with my water. And because I use filtered water, I figure I can double the life span of the filter. This filter basically removes all taste from my water. No chlorine, no chemical taste, nothing! Better tasting, cleaner BY FAR, and you're not polluting the environment with plastic bottles.

It's well worth the cost. We traveled to Malaysia, Indonesia, and all over Thailand for almost a month with the Lifestraw in hand. Then straight to England, touring by train for 3 weeks everywhere, always had the Lifestraw filled with water from any regular and sometimes questionable source. Next, we cruised the Greek Isles, mostly clean, but never worried with the Lifestraw. Finally, a week in Athens. We walked 3 to 5 miles each day and drank a ton of water. Always clean tasting, always refreshing. Love the LifeStraw!

works well without the big filter too.. great for safe tap water that just removes nasty tastes..

I got these as a backup for the Lifestraw bottles that failed to arrive due to shipping issues and I haven't gotten to order them again yet. These look like the correct replacement filter so I hope they work as well as the OEM filter will. I actually am getting these for making emergency kits like FEMA & the Red Cross suggest everyone have, and I have seen "boil orders" in effect more than once after storms either in my area or nearby counties. Unless this happens I'll just store them for a (hopefully never) future emergency...

I got the 6pk for $21, which is basically $3.50 a piece. That's pretty cheap considering I use to buy packs of bottled water every week or two. You should be replacing it every 2-3 months if you are using your life straw bottle everyday! Not only are you saving money and not wasting plastic, but you are getting even better and healthier tasting water!

These filters are a must when also purchasing the life straws longer filter which doesn't need to be replaced for at least a year. These black filters should be replaced approximately every 3 months

I have yet to use my replacement carbon filters for my LifeStraw bottle but I am ready when the time comes for me to change it out! I absolutely love my LifeStraw bottle and I use it on a very regular basis. I don't leave home without it, honestly. I know the carbon filter is supposed to last 26 gallons; I'm not sure how long it will take me to 'use up' the initial one that came with the bottle, but I'll be ready when it does. At less than $4/ filter, I found this 6 pack the best deal on Amazon (at the time I was researching it). I appreciate that the package is very minimal, taking up very little space in the closet.

Great tasting water. And a great price. I like that the water only filters when you drink it, no need to carry around a full bottle weight, can fill it as you need it and leave the gym with a light empty bottle, not having wasted the filtering system.

All that required to exchange this filter is a twist off the stem of the filter and pull out cartridge. Simple on tools required.

I think clean water isnt something you can really put a price on, if I had to splash out on anything, my health and safety would come first everytime. Im glad these are available on amazon prime to buy, theyre not over priced. They're excellently made.
