Older titles can still run directly from the external hard drive ( a little slower load times though). Transfer times for large games are under 5 mins ( such as rdr2 ) the transfer times are not an issue mostly under 3 mins either way ? I’d say this is a great piece of kit, value for money and a great update to any home console set up. And you can take it anywhere ??? If you’re a casual player like me this is a no brainer ? Great price, great performance and very easy to use? 5* imo

I bought the Senate 2TB external hard drive to expand storage on my Xbox and overall it’s been a great, reliable addition. The drive wasn’t pre-formatted for Xbox, so I needed to format it on a PC first. This only took a few minutes and was very straightforward, but it’s worth knowing in advance in case you don’t have easy access to a computer. Once that was done, the Xbox recognised it immediately with no issues. Since then, performance has been solid. Games install and run smoothly, it’s quiet in use, doesn’t get hot, and feels well made for the price. The 2TB capacity gives loads of room for modern games and updates, which is a big plus. Overall, excellent value for money. As long as you’re aware of the quick formatting step, it does exactly what you want and works seamlessly with Xbox once set up. Would happily recommend.

Plenty of space for a decent library of games. Had a long time now and never had an issue, very reliable. The fact that it doesn't require it's own power supply and can draw from the console makes it very easy to set up. Unfortunately cannot play SeriesX/S games directly from it, but that's not Seagate's fault

Grate little drive holds all memory and easy to use

The Seagate Game Drive for Xbox 2TB is a solid external drive with plenty of space and fast transfer speeds. It’s perfect for storing lots of games and freeing up console space. The only downside is you can’t play Xbox Series X|S games directly from the drive – you have to move them back to the console first. Still, it's a great storage solution overall!

Had to get my partner to reorder this for me as apparently I am only allowed to order one. given that I received a wired mouse instead of a hard drive i think that is a bit rich. UPDATE finally received the hard drive thanks to my partner. However, save your money as you CANNOT play Xbox games from this device. You can store them on there , but what is the point as you may have to delete games from the internal storage of the xbox to be able to move the game to a playable drive. Total con

I needed to get a new hard drive for my xbox and this one is great. It is a good size and the speed it great. Some external drives are not fast enough to handle actually using to for xbox.

La Xbox lo reconoce al segundo y solo tienes que darle a "formatear" para empezar a mover juegos. ​Diseño icónico: El acabado en negro con el logo de Xbox y la barra LED verde queda espectacular junto a la consola. No parece un disco duro genérico, sino un accesorio oficial. ​Portabilidad: Es muy compacto y no necesita fuente de alimentación externa (se alimenta por el propio USB), lo que lo hace ideal para llevarte tus juegos a casa de un amigo. ​Capacidad real: Con 2TB tienes espacio para unos 50 juegos (dependiendo del tamaño), lo que te quita de encima el estrés de gestionar el espacio constantemente. ​⚠️ A tener en cuenta ​Optimización Series X|S: Recuerda que, al ser un HDD (disco mecánico), puedes jugar directamente a títulos de Xbox One, 360 y Original.
