Is this better than ultra?

that's why I bought only one, to find out which is stronger and longer lasting.

Does it have fine tip applicator?

No it does not, it is the same tip as the regular Fixodent. The Fixodent Plus Scope has a fine tip but I was not impressed with the lasting power.
