This simple kit contains a small mic that turns your iPhone into an instant recording Device. my husband and I use it for our singing YouTube channel while on the road. it works very well. Picks up zero background noise. The device is Literally just plug and play. So super easy to use! I appreciate the simplicity of this setup and the length of the cord it perfect for multi tasking. The clip is really handy~ especially for our needs. Has a strong hold and keeps it safe. Overall extremely happy with it and an amazing price!

Edit #2: After much troubleshooting, I’ve finally determined that the problem I am having is with the APP I have been using, and not with this product. In fact, once I resolved the problem with my app, I am impressed with the audio I am getting from this microphone. Changing my rating, and my apologies to the seller for my mistake. +1 for your customer service in reaching out to me to rectify the issue. Raising my rating to 5 stars based on a good product and excellent customer service. Edit: I want to be fair to the company that produces / sells this microphone. After I posted the below review, they reached out to me and sent me a free replacement. So kudos for customer service. I really wanted this one to work so I could write my prior bad experience down to it just being a lemon, and give them 5 starts for resolving the issue, but that’s not the case. This new one has the same high-pitched scratching sound as the first one, and is completely unusable. Maybe this mic will work well in a static indoor situation, but for filming outdoor sports where I am moving around the camera to follow the play, it just doesn’t work. Kudos to your customer service, but unfortunately this product just doesn’t work well at all. — Original Review — I bought this for live-streaming youth sports, hoping that using an actual microphone would eliminate wind noise. Every time I speak or the crowd cheers, this microphone turns it into an ear-piercing high-pitched scratching sound. This thing is absolutely worthless. Don’t buy.

I bought this microphone to make videos with my kalimba and piano. With the regular microphone bud, a lot of white noise was picked up, but when I put on the extra fluffy piece, the white noise was less noticeable and it really zeroed in on the sound.

I purchased a couple of different mic/ podcast equipment off of amazon but this is the only thing I was really satisfied with. Small & simple. . gets the job done . Quality is really good !

Do not buy this product. It worked fine the first time I used it. Next time I used it the audio was unusable, so much extra noise. Now I'm trying to use it for the third time and there is absolutely NO SOUND. Would never buy again. A complete waste of money.

No more extensions and gadgets to get a mic to work direct into an iPhone. So happy. And the cord is nice and long! I tried so many including wireless and this one had the most clear sound. The wire is not difficult to deal with if under clothing and the clip is nice and tight. It came with extra wind muffs including one for outdoors. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a mic direct input into a phone. I also like that it can fit a usb extender fit into a laptop too.

Love how easy it is to put into the phone. This microphone is better than my phone because my phone has fallen a few times and went swimming in water. This microphone allows my phone to record like nothing ever happened and I love that it has a clip :)

If you’re looking to make an old iPhone into a recorder, I would recommend it for starting out. The audio quality is okay. The sound clips very easily, especially in confined spaces such as a car or even a small to medium sized room. I wish there was a volume or sensitivity control to alleviate this issue. In my opinion, the cable is almost too long. It comes with a cable wrap but it’s small and flimsy so you will either lose or break it (as I did). Overall, I think this product has a place in a beginner’s kit.

I purchased this in may month and it got broken in 40-45 days :( Have asked for refund from the company, still not got any processing further.. will update this review when any sokution comes up !!

The quality is quite the same as my existing one under AUD $10.

Voice quality is good but it picks up all the background noises. Noise reduction as promised, is not existent. You can hear wall clock sound in a quiet room through this mic. Kind of disappointed.
