Just glad I had this USB C Hub Multiport Adapter - 7 in 1 Portable Space Aluminum Dongle with 4K HDMI Output, 3 USB 3.0 Ports, SD/TF Card Reader... I would recommend keeping one of these as part of your laptop accessories/adapters "tool bag." I work often between an traditional office, home office-1 and about bi-weekly at another family "home office-2". I would have given this 5/5 stars if it had a DISPLAYPORT on this adapter, in addition to the HDMI port that's already built in; this would save me from carrying a separate HDMI-to-DP dongle/adapter. But, I'm kind of nit-picking here to be honest. Having said this, I'm a realist and I'm sure the cost would have increased as well as its foot print. Between the "home offices" and main office, 2 of 3 sites having the docking stations which offers me a full complement of my needed ports (i.e. -USB 3.0, HDMI, DP, mDP). Being that 1 of 2 USB 3.0 Type-A ports on my laptop is dead, I am short on ports. This USB C Hub Multiport Adapter has been the accessory I needed; giving me the required flexibility to be 100% connected at my primary home office (34" HDMI display, USB mouse, USB k/b, USB Jabra bluetooth dongle, and slots for mSD and SD memory cards to boot!) Excellent value for the price in my opinion! Given that I use it for 5-6 days a week, 8 - 12+ hours a day from my primary home office. As they say, "Price is what you pay - Value is what you get out of it!" So for me, it's quite the bang for the buck! It's been trouble-free and PnP for me so far! I've used this for more than 2+ months and really have had no issues with heat, or connectivity issues. Saves desktop space from my primary work@home setup since I don't need a docking station here. I was searching for quite a long time for all-in-one connective port hub. Eventually, I chose this all-in-one type-C connectivity hub from ThanBao brand and I am really happy about my decision. This is a premium product at such a low price. More than the price, I like all the features of this dongle including bi-directional data transfer at a very fast rate. Moreover, it is very light-weight yet very sturdy. The best part I liked is that it doesn't get heated over the extended use. It effortlessly transfers and streams photos, 4K movies on TV. It doesn't have Ethernet port as one of the users pointed out. However, these days nobody uses Ethernet since almost all portable devices runs on WiFi connections. I am also glad that it has HDMI port at the front. I had only one issue, when I connected MicroSD and TransFlash together. My windows10 computer could only detect only one card at a time. I guess it had something to do with my USB type-A to USB-type-C connector, which I used to connect to my windows laptop. Nonetheless, I am totally happy with the quality and performance and strongly recommend to have this wonderful product instead of a bunch of several individual connectors.

This dock is small but mighty. I have 2 auxilary monitors for my laptop bluetooth mouse and keyboard and this little guy handles them like a champ! It does not require power itself which is great, and is so compact. For those that need it for card readers it has the most common slots on it and they read no problem. It is not a powered dock, which is good for what I needed and keeps the cost low. It is so small and easy to hide when I am at home at my work station and allows for easy packing when traveling. I have had it for a few months now, wanted to make sure it would hold up to some use before review and it is going strong! Highly recommend!

I have been using the USB C Hub for over a month with both my HP Chromebook and Google Pixel 5a and I am very happy with it. I use the hub daily and have my wireless mouse, webcam SD & Micro SD plugged in almost all the time. Everything works perfectly simultaneously. I'm also impressed with how durable the hub is because I am always on the go and the hub stays connected and working in the car, while walking and outdoors. Equally impressive is all of this is true even when it is connected to my Pixel 5a smartphone! I do have one issue, however. I have not been able to get the HDMI port work at all but honestly it might be an issue with the older monitor I am using so I am not giving a negative review. Actually, I am happy with it even if the HDMI doesn't work. 👍🏻

I needed a multi-port hub for my MacBook Air, because it has no USB ports. Very disappointed in Apple for that. While I work from home I needed a hub I could plug my monitor, external drive, and wireless mouse to. I can do that with this little guy. It is very small and compact so easy to bring along when I travel. It has all the ports I need. (3 USB 3.0 ports 2 SD card slots and an HDMI output) All function perfect and required no drivers or anything else. Why pay for something 3x's the price when this device can do it at a 3rd of the cost. I highly recommend.

I bought my MacBook Air 2021 and didn’t realize I needed to purchase a special USB C to connect anything more than the charger to it. I first purchased a Selore dongle that had holes over both the C drives. It did not have an HDMI port which I needed so I bought this one about 2 months ago. There are several advantages to this hub: it doesn’t tie up the 2 ports, it has the HDMI port and 3 USB ports. And an SD card port for our camera photos!! My wireless mouse has been working just fine and the HDMI lets me connect to tv monitors easily. I fits neatly into my computer bag. I am very pleased with the performance of it. It meets all my needs!

The USB C Hub works well for a new Mac Book Pro and should work on any other laptop that have USB C. Having so many connections and ports on such a compact and well built device is amazing. I tried the HDMI, the USB ports, the SD card reader and the microphone ports, so all worked well. I intent to use it occasionally for travel. The only concern is that there is no USB-C PD charging available while using it, so even though you can use it to connect devices to Ipad Pro as well, you have to find other ways for charging the iPad.

I think this "USB C Hub Multiport Adapter - 7 in 1 Portable Space Aluminum Dongle" is a great item for today's "have no ports" laptops. I'm talking about a Dell XPS. Pay out the nose for a computer, and then have to buy something to plug in a device you need - ridiculous. Anyway, this Adapter is great. Wow! Holds seven devices! You won't find one that is built with more quality... or that is better looking, either. ThanBao built a quality item! The only thing that I didn't like about it is that it will have to be unplugged from the edge of your laptop, if you put it into a case to transport it. Otherwise it would just flop around. Constant removal and replacement of it will tend to make the plug loosen up and wear out quicker. A good strip of adhesive or velcro will secure it to the top (just near the hinge) of the laptop. The pigtail is 6" long, so it would work well, and wouldn't be flexed enough to wear it out that quick, either. It's a great little adapter, and works exactly as it was designed to work. You won't be disappointed if you get this adapter! A few days later, I wanted to add this to my review: I located one of those large "Command" adhesive strips (the ones that stick those "Command Hooks" that you get from Walmart to the wall). I placed it on the adapter, and then stuck it to my computer, just above the hinge. I placed it where there would be the least distance from the plug socket, so there would be the least amount of flex in the cord. And the edge with the most plugs are towards the back, so that anything that is plugged into it is at the rear of the laptop. Perfect! Definitely a 5 Star item!

Very poor data transfer capacity, not recommended for gaming or high quality monitor.
