Even though that cheaper brand claimed a "500 lbs" weight capacity compared to Able Life's "300 lbs" rating, the Able Life handle feels significantly more secure and robust when putting my weight on it. I bought this for an elderly friend who was starting to find getting in and out of the car especially right now with all the ice. She feels more confident getting in and out and said it it made a huge difference in getting out of the car. I'm so glad I decided to get one!
