I know the length front to back of these is 9.5". Will the elastic stretch to fit an armrest that is 11" long front to back?

Yes. That is the length of my hubby's desk chair and I just tried to stretch these pads onto them and it worked but I had to position the pad in the center of the arm rest and reaching beneath the new pad I simultaneously stretched the elastic band at each end to get it on. I will say that I attempted this when these first arrived and I couldn't get them on, but these new pads have been on my desk chair for a couple of weeks and have stretched out a little. Good luck.

how thick is the pad?

I received mine on 8/8/21. The pad parts alone are about 1.5 inches or a little less. That's good for me because they raise the minimum height of an armrest, and a much thicker pad would sit too high for me on my particular office chair. The pad is functionally thick enough to be very comfortable. More thickness would be overkill IMO.

Do these pads shift around? Do they stay still while you pivot your elbow or while you move your arm?

It moves around a little bit on my NITRO CONCEPTS S300 Gaming Chair, yes, but not during use. If that makes sense. I liked the style with straps. The straps seemed more secure, stable, but the ones I tried were quite narrow so I can live with the minor shifting around with these wider covers.

Does this fit into Ikea Markus armrests?

Unfortunately, the arms can’t be connected the chair, they need to go all the way around the arm so it wouldn’t fit and IKEA Markus
