I recently switched to ReptiChip Loose Coconut Chip Bedding for my ball python enclosure, and I am genuinely pleased with the results. This 36-quart Coco Husk Substrate has proven to be a fantastic choice for creating a comfortable and natural environment for my reptile companion. Natural and Safe Material: The use of coconut husk as the primary material for this bedding is a significant highlight. It's a natural and safe substrate closely mimics the reptile's natural habitat. I appreciate the commitment to providing an environment that supports the well-being of my ball python. Excellent Moisture Retention: ReptiChip excels in moisture retention, creating an environment with optimal humidity levels for my ball python. This is crucial for shedding and overall hydration. The coconut chip bedding maintains moisture without becoming excessively damp, striking a perfect balance. Odor Control: One of the standout features of ReptiChip is its effectiveness in odor control. The coconut husk naturally helps absorb and neutralize odors, creating a more pleasant living space for my ball python. This has significantly improved the overall enclosure maintenance. Easy to Spot Clean: The loose texture of the coconut chips makes spot cleaning a breeze. It's easy to identify and remove soiled areas, maintaining my reptile's clean and hygienic living space. The substrate's consistency also allows for easy reshaping and restructuring as needed. Versatile for Burrowing: Ball pythons are known for their burrowing behavior, and ReptiChip caters perfectly to this instinct. The loose coconut chip bedding allows my ball python to engage in natural behaviors, creating tunnels and hiding spots for enrichment. Packaging and Quantity: The 36 Quart packaging is generous, providing sufficient substrate to cover the enclosure adequately. It's a cost-effective option that ensures I have an ample supply for regular substrate changes and maintenance. In conclusion, ReptiChip Loose Coconut Chip Bedding has proven to be an excellent choice for my ball python's substrate needs. The natural material, superior moisture retention, and odor control make it a standout product. I highly recommend ReptiChip to reptile enthusiasts looking for a high-quality and reptile-friendly substrate for their enclosures.

Got it for a wet box for my royal python. Held the moisture fine without any signs of mould but the bag is not big enough nor was it revolutionary enough to justify the huge price.

Perfect for an enclosure , shipped fast and priced fairly. Hydrated with boiling water and expanded quickly.

The first time I bought one of those on amazon.com (and not .fr), it was densely packed and worth the price. What I received today is very loose and in a very small quantity for the price. Absolutely not worth the huge price. It should be 4x less expensive. This is just theft.
