Temperature requirements

Much below freezing and it'll start missing pics/vids, until it takes none. Recommend lowering all pic/video quality settings in extreme cold and start w/ picture burst first when a video is wanted to "wake it up". Excellent pictures and video's under warmer conditions.

How does this trail camera perform at night?

This trail camera G600 performs very well during the day or at night!

can i hook up a solar panel to this trail cam?

I have had this camera version with the solar device attached at the top that it came with. I'd say pay the extra for the entire device. Very well worth the cost. It gives me a very clear picture and have had no issues other than the color fade of the camo only.
