The Dreametech D9 Pro is the first robot vacuum that I have owned. I am happy with my purchase and strongly recommend the product. After careful reading about robot vacuums, I decided that the most important features for me are Lidar navigation with the ability to save at least 3 maps, battery capacity, suction, a mopping feature, integrated app, and intermediate price point. From my careful review of perhaps 10 products, the Dreametech D9 Pro seemed superior on battery capacity and suction along with providing the other features. There was also an excellent price when I purchased it. The price increased $100 the following week. I read some reviews complaining about build quality so I purchased extended warranties for 3 years. I normally do not purchase extended warranties. The build quality seems excellent so far on the product. I did not want self emptying as I prefer to empty the vacuum myself. I have used the robot vacuum for 2 weeks with excellent results. I was confused about some of the app features especially the multiple map feature. I sent messages to customer support and their answers helped me. - I divided my house into 3 areas based on location and type of flooring. In the app, you should check the multi-floor maps item in the map management to enable saving of a maximum of 3 maps. - I am not sure about room feature. I could not use this feature and I do not understand how it relates to maps. I could only create 1 room with three maps. The support desk could not answer my question. For me, it does not matter as the 3 maps in the same room work for my entire house. - I also do not understand why to divide or merge areas. I understand why I would use the Area Editor. The support group provided videos about merging and dividing a room, but not a reason a to divide or merge areas. Once again, I do not need this feature. - The app works well when using the robot vacuum. The app shows the position of the robot during cleaning. The app allows setting cleaning properties for a room but not a map. Perhaps if I had one map per room, I could set cleaning properties for each room. Again, I can get the work done with my current setup. - The robot cleans efficiently with moderate noise. I use strong cleaning for better suction. The battery life is good for me to clean my entire 2200 square foot home. - The mop feature is ok. It provides a wet mop without deep cleaning. For a good mop feature, you need either a separate device or a much higher priced device. I find mop cleaning good to remove footprints and other marks. I would not use the mop on wood floors. I think it is designed for tile floors. Overall, great product exceeding my expectations. It is fun to watch the path taken by robot. I now have a much cleaner house.

I was definitely surprised on the power of it. I'm very happy does my whole 2 bedroom apartment, not loud at all and returns itself to recharge. Got it primeday so was great price. Very happy

I had a Deebot N80 before purchasing this robot vacuum but the Deebot I had lacked the newest technology with navigation, etc. The price comparison between this Dreamtech and the Deebot equivalent, made this purchase undeniably better. The suction is great, the ability to select specific room cleanings or whole home cleaning is great, virtual walls, no-go zones, dust container capacity… all really good! However, in order to get all these great things, you’ll have to deal with this noisy machine. Honestly, it’s worth it though just for the suction power alone. Mapping my home was a breeze and very accurate. From start to finish, a full home cleaning is done in ~33 minutes, which is great on timing. I’ve not been able to get this device connected to Alexa after trying ~20 times. However, based on the Alexa commands that are available, I wouldn’t likely clean my home using the Alexa integration. Returning to the charging dock is not an available command with Alexa but honestly, I don’t personally have a use case where I would need not tell the machine to return to the dock because it automatically does that anyways after cleaning or when the battery needs charged. I would rather prefer the ability to do something along the lines of “Alexa, tell (robot name) to clean the kitchen or bedroom, etc. However that isn’t an option, so I don’t see a clear need for integrating with Alexa or why it’s even possible on this machine. Overall, I’d rate this machine 4 stars- the noise level and Alexa limitations lost the 5th star. BUT, I would still recommend it over most of its counterparts!

Dreame Bot D9 sounds good on paper, but its navigation makes it completely useless. Its number one flaw is that it can’t backup. If it runs into something, and feels it can’t turn, there it stays until rescued. Going “home” is a big production because of this. It will circle and recircle the entire room to attempt navigating into port. It’s the craziest thing ever. It literally takes 20 minutes for the thing to put itself away. Cheaper brands/models can back up, why not this one? It also gives up on any area with furniture in it, and it won’t go under an open staircase, yet it will clean areas with cords to suck up like there is no tomorrow. You can’t really “train” where you want it to go because you’re fighting it the entire way, even using remote in the app. In the kitchen, because of the island, it does one streak on the side of the island where the base lives, and forgoes 99% of the kitchen floor. It could do 3 passes on that side of the island alone, yet it only does the one narrow streak. In the living room, because of the couch, chairs and so forth, it will only attempt cleaning around the buffet piece. It won’t venture to the other side of the living room, vacuum the rug in front of the couch, mop in front of the sliding doors. Nothing except 20 minutes of vacuuming and mopping under the buffet—where there are cords to get tangled in. For 20-40 minutes of run time, it will only clean about 5% of what it could. I have a less expensive vac without the supposedly advanced and fancy LiDAR technology—and it is far superior. It actually…cleans, which is the sole purpose of having a robo vac!

I started using the vacuum even before reading the instructions. Everything was so easy and ready. The suction power is excellent, with two passes in the living room and kitchen the canister was already full, which tells me that the cleaning was thorough. I have not tried anything before with such power. The app is excellent, creation of maps, and one very good feature is the creation of invisible walls, that is a big plus. I am very happy with this purchase. And I recommend it to everybody who’s looking for a great Robot, at a great price.

I used my Neato probably less than 2 dozen times and it crapped out, out of warranty. The likely cost of repairs was several hundred dollars plus the hassle of packing and shipping. So I took a chance on this unit for about the same price as a Neato repair. Of course I bought the extended warranty since it was inexpensive. I am amazed. I can only compare it to my defunct robot, but this unit is much more intuitive, faster, and every bit as effective. The software is better and the robot does not get "stuck" like the old one. Its logic in how it maneuvers about the house is excellent. I have now used this for 3 weeks, and I couldn't be happier. I recommend it highly, but to be safe, I would get the warranty extension.

The product is good, it fulfills its functions but I bought the product for $319.99 and right after the purchase they offered it for $100 less, that doesn't seem fair to me, it's all a hoax.
