Aquatabs 49mg Water Purification Tablets (50 Pack). Water Filtration System for Hiking, Backpacking, Camping, Emergencies, Survival, and Home-Use. Easy to Use Water Treatment and Disinfection.

I’m going to be blunt, every single person, every household, every camper, every adventurer, and yes, every American 12 and older should have these. No exceptions. These tablets aren’t just “good,” they are life saving. Whether you’re deep in the Alaskan bush, stranded after a storm, or just out camping and forgot your filter, these little tablets turn any questionable water into safe drinking water. They’re easy, fast, compact, and reliable, no fancy gear needed. I trust them completely, and I wouldn’t leave home without them. If you value safety, preparedness, and peace of mind, you buy these. End of story.

Took these on a hiking trip in the Colorado back country and they worked great, exactly as advertised. Much easier than filtering.

Good item to bring for backpacking

Great way to treat water in case of emergency.

This is a very great product, I used it and still using it but have had no reaction to it

I trusted these tablets when I started hiking at age 13. Now at age 54 I still use these when I hike and camp. I use no other purification system. These are easy to use and come individually foil wrapped. Their shelf like is what I like as well for convenience and ease of packing with simple instructions.

Used it on a back country trip-used it in conjunction with boiled water. Worked well.

If you wait until you're out in the wild and need to purify some water, you'll be in trouble if you are relying on the packaging to tell you how to use the tablets. Well, first of all, there are no instructions whatsoever on the actual packets of tablets. None. And the box/package they come in is far from comprehensible. They didn't even try to make it accessible to the average person. Not to mention it's all in 6 point font. Good luck! I've attached an image so you can see for yourself. Here on the Amazon product page the instructions are clear, but on the actual product it's insanely incomprehensible, not to mention hard to read. Minus 2 stars for poor instructions for failure to use correctly could result in one becoming very ill if not dead.
