I LOVE this cortisone ointment because it is water resistant. It is perfect. I sweat a lot and that tends to cause skin irritation. I use this ointment after a shower and within 24 hours I am all better. It stops the itching almost immediately and the irritation clears up quickly. I highly recommend this ointment.

This works well for skin irritation caused by repeated or prolonged exposure to moisture. While cortisone cream adds to the moisture in the area, this ointment formula does not and actually helps to create a moisture barrier when applied to the irritated skin. This is exactly what I was looking for and really helped me.

Works for me

I've never expected this ointment to be much better than it says. No smell, it stops the itch and the discomfort quickly. Unsurprisingly, it also repairs the damaged skin, like a rash, redness. The 2oz size is pretty good! Someone said the box is not strong enough, which I totally agree with. But as a matter of the effectiveness of the itch relief, it's perfect for me.

Last longer than the creams to me because you use less to cover the same area. Goes on smooth and it does what it's supposed to do for minor irritations
