Works great for old septic tanks with no baffle screen.

Needed this for our aerobic septic system. The septic guy put it in because the previous one broke. That’s all I know about this product

Updated 25 year old septic tank.
Added PL-68 filter-housing, with 2 polylok risers. I would recommend checking filter often until septic tank settles back into normal operating conditions, I had to clean filter once after 3 weeks. Checked filter yesterday, was very clean, after 3 months of use. Also added speed levelers to distribution box, which adjust effluent equally to drain lines. 15 months later, clean filter every 3 months, 15-30 minute job!! 25 year old, 1000 gallon septic tank has no baffles, requiring maintenance more often! Great news no backups!! Update February 2024; clean filter every 2-3 months!! Very expensive to replace leach field, mature yard-landscaping! Maintenance cheaper than costly replacement!
