Rothco Field Jacket - All-Season Outdoor Weather Protection and Classic Style Coat

It is a very good M65 jacket, modern design, I've been using it for hiking on rainy days, it's very warm for hiking it makes me sweat , maybe I should use only a Nike Dryfit t-shirt , I like the modern features, the collar and the softer snap buttons, I have an original M65 jacket from the military surplus that I believe it's warmer and it doesn't have the liner, but this is not a complain, I can remove the liner if it gets warmer, I can layer it up as needed. Definitely I'm not a person that will stay idle on the outdoors , I'll be doing some activity. The Rothco jacket I bought it in medium-regular and I'm a slim guy 6'2" and 180 pounds, 42" chest and 31" waist, normally I buy medium t-shirts or large depending on the brand. You can wear this jacket informal with shirts or fleece jackets, or dress it up a little with sweaters and Formal shirts, it's military style and it helps that doesn't have tags and badges, Good buy ! !

Definitely a working jacket, yet looks great with more formal wear, too! Has great resistance to wind, rain, and cold, when you put in the liner, which is thick without being too heavy. Lots of pockets, always good, and cut large enough to layer, if you like. The color is good and even, and will be your go-to jacket for a long time! Highly recommend!

I held my breath awaiting this M65 since it is made in China BUT, my fears were for naught. It would be real hard to tell the difference between this Rocthco version and the military issue. I bought a large and it fits perfectly, easily allowing for layering be it a vest, hoodies, second insert , it is an excellent jacket. Buttons well sewed in, main zipper works well, the sleeves were perfect in length and allow for extra layering. I’d give this 10 Stars if I could. Thank you Rothco for preserving a legend…the great M65!

First of all this thing is a tank. I feel I can do a hard days work and this won’t tear up or break down. I put it on and I was already feeling how warm it gets which will help in the winter a lot. My only gripe was I took a gamble on size reading peoples reviews. Lots said get a size down or a size up. Which is it? I wear a large or xl jacket/sweatshirt depending on material and style of jacket. I decided let me order a medium and go up from there. It came in as a “Medium regular” making me wonder if they have a medium short or medium long option or not or if this was to just mimic standard issue stuff with NSN phrases. Anyway, The medium fit my perfectly which was a shocker. Even my wife and daughter complimented how it fit me perfectly. I put on a similar jacket I got while I was in the army which was a large short that also fit me perfectly and they wear a match. I put on an XL jacket of similar but not identical style and it was the same fit as well. Point of the story is just be aware of the size and be prepared to return for a different size. Other than that the cuffs are a weird thing. Either wizard sleeve or closed cuff with no in between. Which is awkward because this is so brand new the jacket is kind of boxy and square until I break it in a bit so closing the cuff to the tightest setting looked goofy due to the boxy arm because it tapers so dramatically. I’m sure with some washes and general wear it’ll end up relaxing a bit and not be so square. That being said the arm length was different. Normally if a jacket is too long in the arm I roll the cuff in or out but with the liner this is basically impossible to look normal. Other than that the jacket feels like it’s built tough and the warmth settled in quickly proving it does what it’s intended. The hood is thinner than my normal field jacket. Like really thin that I imagine using this in the rain will be practically useless since it’s as thin as a basically graphic shirt. Other than that the jacket looks and feels of quality and I don’t feel my arms restricted doing normal tasks at work or around the house. I’ll update in a few months with any new findings.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Blown away by the quality. Surprisingly warm. Looks great. Came shipped rolled up in plastic…causing some serious wrinkles.

迷彩柄のジャケットを探していましたが 私の体型に合う物がなかなか見つかりませんでした。【身長 180cm / 体重 110kg 】 アマゾンさんで この商品を見つけた時 柄とデザインは気に入りましたが サイズの表記が【XXXL】だった為 私の体型に合うのか わかりませんでしが、思い切って購入して大正解でした。袖の部分が10cm程余りましたが 袖の裏側も迷彩柄なので 袖をまくれば 全く問題有りません。私と同じ様な体型の人には オススメです。

発送も早く、丁寧に梱包されていました。しかし、サイズが分かり難く、XXLでは大きすぎて困りました。サイズを分かり易く表示して貰いたいと思いました。

Very good, a lighter weight material than a genuine m-65 but that is fine with me as it will be more comfortable in warmer weather. Also longer than other m-65 jackets, which is great for me as I am tall. Only criticisms are the lack of an internal pocket, also the exterior chest pockets would benefit from being a little deeper.
