Don't be dumb and throw away your OEM plate like I did
I decided to upgrade from a third-party CPU cooling fan to a liquid cooled fan. But the liquid cooled fan expected that I would have kept my original OEM CPU backplate...which I did not. So out of panic to salvage my mess, I was happy to find this backplate. It fit perfectly and was easy to install and got me on my way to installing that shiny new liquid cooling heatsink.

If you need an AM4 mounting bracket because you (like me) threw away your original, order this and sleep in peace, knowing that you've never got to worry about an AM4 mounting bracket for the rest of your life, unless someone steals or damages it--in which case you will at least know to come back here and buy another of these brackets.This bracket is created from incredibly high-grade black plastic and black steel. It comes with four screws that, while not black (which would have been way cooler), do the job.Screwing the bracket into place is easy.Mounting your heat sink on this bracket is delightful.Closing your PC side panel, you will feel superior to everyone else, because you made the right decision, and a lot of people would be like "I don't know what to do about my missing bracket, I guess I'll spend a lot of money on a new motherboard" and you were smart enough to get this one. You know why? Because you're awesome, and this bracket is awesome, and the two of you belong together.Be well.
