I purchased with some skepticism that the Vanilla Ice Cream flavor might disappoint. I am glad to say the Vanilla Ice Cream flavor is very good and priced fairly. This Whey protein brand comes with a scoop for measuring and produces a smooth and creamy frappe like drink when using a blender. I like the diversity that the Vanilla flavor offers when I am in the mood for a fruit flavor like bananas, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and pineapple. I have also added plain yogurt. The Optimum Whey Protein Powder is very fine, blends well with liquid and produces a filling, flavorful breakfast, lunch, and when on the go or preparing for a workout, a Vanilla Ice Cream drink will save time and satisfy your hunger.

This protein powder is excellent! It mixes very well with no clumps and has a smooth, great taste—especially the vanilla flavor. It helps me recover after workouts and keeps me feeling energized. The quality is top-notch and worth every penny. I would definitely buy it again!

I’ve mixed it with water, almond milk, and once blended it into a banana smoothie to see how it behaves. So yes, this has been properly field-tested. For a vanilla protein, this is solid. It’s not overly sweet, not artificial-tasting, and doesn’t punch you in the face with fake vanilla. Mixed with cold milk, it actually tastes like a mild vanilla milkshake. With water, it’s lighter but still drinkable which is important because some powders only taste decent with milk. It dissolves easily in a shaker bottle. No stubborn clumps, no protein “floaters,” no sandy texture. 20–30 seconds of shaking and you’re good. The powder is fine and consistent. No weird smell when you open the container. Dissolves easily, very good nutrition wise, good quality protein powder, and very good price. Absolutely love this flavor, if you are not familiar with the brand, try the vanilla ice cream first, it also becomes very frothy which I like, almost feels like having a vanilla milk shake.

Slight whey flavor thats counteracted with some PB and less blend time. Great consistency, likable by my friend who doesn’t eat as much protein as I do, so its beginner friendly. Tastes like vanilla and is good base for other shakes. Can easily make a high protein strawberry smoothie and not notice the vanilla. Doesn’t mess with my stomach either.

I personally don't enjoy the taste - it has some bitterness to it.
