I’m really impressed with this SUNPOW metal detector! It’s super easy to use, even for beginners, and the display is clear and responsive. The detector identifies different types of metal very accurately — iron, aluminum, silver — all show up with different tones and numbers. The depth indicator is also surprisingly accurate; I tested it several times and it matched perfectly. The sensitivity is great too. It picks up even small metal objects without giving a bunch of false alarms like cheaper detectors. It’s lightweight, comfortable to hold, and the grip feels solid. My kids can use it easily as well, which makes it a really fun family activity. Overall, this detector is stable, sensitive, easy to operate, and definitely worth the price. I used it the first day after assembling. I went out into the yard and it accurately detected pieces of metal in places I didnt know existed. So far, so good.

I got this to find my property lines on my house. Worked excellent was easy to use. Good value for its money. Pretty good quality well made. Detects all kinds of metal. And it came with a little metal detector with zeros in on the poles that were in the ground did the job for me.

Always wanted a metal detector anyway... Had noticed that one sprinkler head failed to come up when the system ran. No good map of the system, as is very common. Kind of knew where it was but could not find it just poking in the ground. Measured between two others on the zone and knew it should be somewhere. Bought this detector and was able to find the head. The stainless spring in the head is what the detector found. Some irrig heads have brass nozzles on top. Those would be easier to find since the brass has more density and is closer to the surface. Now the fun part: the detector has different tones and capabilities to detect several different types of metal. Some types of metal can be 'turned off' as you search. Steel/iron tone is low and silver is highest, with a few between. The display also indicates the approximate type of metal. Detector really gets excited with silver coins. Learned how it works by spreading a nail, penny, dime, quarter, old sprinkler head, etc., on driveway. Held the detector ring about 12" above them while walking by. Got to know the different sounds and displays. There is a lot of metal in my yard! Checked the edge of the driveway and front walk. Seems that in the sixty years this house has been here, people have dropped coins on a regular basis. Dug up an old-style beer tab while looking for the sprinkler head, though. Want to take it to local beach if I can. Many cities/counties have restrictions on searching public property, so check before you head out.

This was a Christmas present for my husband. He has only had the opportunity to try it once and only found one piece of a door hinge in our neighbor’s yard. I was a little surprised that the “battery” was not a rechargeable one, but 2 9 volt batteries, but the detector itself and the digital dashboard seemed accurate and easy to read and understand. This review is probably premature, but I wanted to go ahead and respond.

I bought this for my lady on Christmas. The deal was outstanding! Almost half off the original price and well worth it. It detects very well and comes with tools such as a shovel to help your journey. A kid could assemble this detector. You can adjust for height of different people. Very good beginner detector as well as serious detectors. Tested on multiple items and it never failed. Screen is perfect in size. Comes with headphones. Only thing I had to purchase separate was the pinpoint detector. Which I found on Amazon for a great price. Also has a carrying case. I love this device but most importantly my lady loves it. Item arrived on time and everything works great. I’d highly recommend people jump on this deal. I paid just over $100 for a $200 item. Jump on this if it’s still on sale. Also forgot to add the strap for your arm. It lessons the strain on your arm while using. We can’t wait until spring. Thank you Amazon for offering such a great deal in these hard times. I wish my video I took of her opening this gift was smaller so you could see the look on her face when she opened it.

Beeped alot of extras! Even just in the air with nothing any where near it. Then after using for an hour, it was beeping so much i couldnt stand it! Maybe it was batteries, but they were brand new & i replaced em with another set of new & it still beeped obnoxiously. & pinpoint didnt work very good. Screen was difficult to discern which setting it was on & which metal it was seeing. I think there was some kind of malfunction in the one I received. Edit: Customer service contacted me 2 months later & offered to help issue a refund (even though it was past the allowable time frame). Maria was great in all aspects of customer service. Im gonna try another product, most likely was the item I received.

Es práctico, fácil de usar(viene con una pantalla con muchas maneras de configuración) Me llegó con el instructivo en tres idiomas entre ellos el español, así que me pareció un buen detalle de marketing aunque hoy en día es fácil traducir manuales con apps. Lo compré en una promoción de Amazon. Soy principiante y me pareció fácil de usar. Quizá lo único que mejoraría sería que fuera recargable y no estar desechado pilas. De ahí en más me parece precio justo a lo que ofrece. No soy una experta en detectores pero creo que sí funciona muy bien. Yo si lo recomiendo. Para aquellos que son principiantes como yo, tomen en cuenta también adquirir un detector de metales "puntero" para que al momento de encontrar algo, el puntero será de gran ayuda para encontrar su objetivo 👍
