Sports Psychology - A Complete Introduction

As a Sport Psychology major at National University (earning my BA in Sport Psychology on July 2018) this book is a godsend. Really easy to understand and read. Great source material here for your papers. And is basically a great introduction/quick review to the field of Sport Psychology. Pick this up if you are studying Sport Psychology, or any other form of Psychology and/or Kinesiology. Great for Students, Athletes and anyone trying to expand their minds. A+

This book was used to supplement a college class that did not have a textbook. The book used psychology terms along with layman’s language that worked well with the slides provided by the lecturer.

This is a good read. More technical read. The print is small but I have good reading glasses. Delves into psy theories. But expect it will have practical tools mental later in the read. It’s a little early to eval but will read all. Thanks

This wasn’t for me, but the person who got it wants to go into sports psychology, so they liked receiving this.

El libro está enfocado a los psicólogos del deporte, una rama completamente nueva para mí. Además, de que percibo que solo se extiende a unos países. Lo cual es una verdadera lástima. todos necesitamos de ayuda y consejos de profesionales. El libro es muy interesante en todos los aspectos, desde la organización y estructura, pasando por el contenido, las actividades y la reflexión en cada capítulo, hasta la buena cantidad de referencias. Es el segundo libro que leo sobre esta rama y me ha p dearecido esencial, en otras palabras, es una introducción bien planeada y que puede captar el interés no solo de psicólogos y deportistas profesionales, sino incluso de aquellos que como en mi caso, hacemos ejercicio por diversas razones, pero no nos dedicamos de forma profesional.
