Is the length adjustable? If so, what is the max length the pendant will go?

Yes it is adjustable... But be careful!!! Don't fool around too much with the adjustment screw! They're plastic... I had one strip and it took me all day to remove it and replace it! As for the height, from what I remember there was at least 3 feet (maybe a little more) of extra cord. I had to cut a lot! And I have standard 9 foot ceilings...

Very beautiful but beware.

I bought this from Walmart. This doesn't come with light bulbs. I bought led bulbs from Ikea and it looks absolutely gorgeous. However, please be aware that the outer glass cylinder breaks easily. Only use this at locations that are out of reach or over a dining table.
