Air Pet Carrier Robin Egg Blue

Even though one might say this product is expensive compared to other dog carriers, but the price is worth it. We bought it for our 10-12 lb dogs. It is very good quality and has passed car safety crash ratings (not many carriers have this and is one of the main reasons I purchased this one) and has clips to attach to the car’s seatbelt. It’s great for air travel: the shape is wider at the bottom, but is designed to fold at the bottom to make it rectangular and fit under the airplane seat. It’s easy to open and close. It has multiple pockets. It folds flat for storage. The only complaint is the way the mesh is designed, it is sometimes difficult to see the dog in the bag, but I think it is designed that way to prevent too much light getting in and you can open the bag to check. I definitely recommend this excellent bag!

We have been a fan of this carrier for years. It is comfortable to carry, the cats love them. They are sturdy and a bonus is that they look great. Only down side is that they are not the easiest to clean. We have put them through the washer a couple of times (the big one at the laundry mat) when a cat had an accident, even though you are not supposed to and they survived just fine but I would not do so regularly. They work great on planes (used on the flight back from Germany with our 15# cat) and for trips to the vet. It is actually possible AND comfortable to carry and stack multiple carriers!! They are expensive so we have slowly relpaced our cheaper ones and now everyone has a sleepy pod so they can stop fighting over them. Heavier cats will fit in this carrier since they can turn around, but I would not make them travel for long in it (just to the vet in our case, the 19# cat gets a BIG hard sided carrier if he flys).

I still feel guilty spending $100+ on a cat carrier, but my word, this is like the end-all-be-all of premium cat carriers. My cat is a pretty big girl. 14lbs (13lbs on a good day) domestic shorthair. And she hates traveling. But it's all okay with this carrier!! It's roomy for her to turn around. The floor covering is plush and comfy. The whole inside can be rinsed/wiped down and the floor cover machine washed for those inevitable accidents. The bottom is the sturdiest I've seen of any soft sided carrier. My last one used to cave on her from her weight. Carrying straps are great quality. It has the usual touches of other air travel carriers like the luggage handle feature. I will mention that a check-in agent gave me flak, because you can't see the cat well through the mesh, reason being that the animal may not be receiving enough ventilation. The mesh is two layers that are not aligned with the purpose of decreasing visibility without compromising airflow. Stand your ground. Repeat yourself if you have to. The airlines will catch up lol.

This is a lovely carrier. The color is really neat and there is plenty of room for my little pet. Extremely sadly, i had to return it because it is too long for carry-on purposes, e.g, it does not fit under the seat in the airline we are flying. We even took it to the airport and visited with the airlines. After having measured it and visiting with various airline personnel, we had no choice. Really sad. This carrier would work well in the car. Also, in case one is traveling, it has a handy slit in it such that it can fit right on a handle for rolling luggage. Absolutely superb carrier. If only it were about 5 inches shorter in length.

Like probably many of you, I initially balked at the cost of this carrier. I'm used to the $40-$80 range of regular carriers. But after flying across country with two cats, I can tell you these are 100% worth it. My cats have always been somewhat anxious travelers and often once they step out of the house, they start meowing to go home. Inside these carriers, they were silent and comfy pretty much door to door from California to Massachusetts. An underrated feature is that the edges fold up so you can stuff the carriers under your seat for takeoff, but for most of the flight you can expand them back out so your pets have more room. It should also not be overlooked that they are rather stylish and we have continued to get comments on the carriers from stangers and our vets! All in all, it seems like these really make a difference in providing comfort and security to our cats and I think Sleepypod has made a customer for life :)

Excellent carrier. Very sturdy. Lots of room. Folds perfectly under an airline seat while still allowing plenty of room for my cat - used it in a 4+ hour flight. Easy entrance. Useful side pockets for paperwork etc. Great turquoise colour too. Bought this on a recommendation from someone on YouTube - well worth the money - best I've ever used for traveling.

I boggled at the cost, but I saw why once I received it. Very well-made and sturdy. The interior is soft and washable. It attaches easily to my suitcase for traveling. Having anxious kitties who hate carriers, I was worried about how much they would fight to get into the carrier. But with the top opening, it will be much easier to get them in and out of the carrier. I am pleased with it!

Great size. Excellent quality materials. Nice and soft inside. Folds down super compact. Good features. Airline compliant and Not heavy.
