We love it. It really helps keep cats from using our mulch as a bathroom. It keeps my small front garden neat and clean.I even bought some of this for one of my neighbors. Excellent invention..

This works to keep my dog out of my chair and off my table with all the irresistible chewy items, like my TV remote, reading glasses, phone stylus, pencils and pens, prescription meds just to name a few victims. It has side hooks to attach adjacent runs of another strip. It is stiff plastic. It remembers it is rolled for storage. Plan on weigting down the ends with a heavy book or something equivalent. Small cats could feasibly step between the tunes, but they will have to approach it from a level plain. They won't jump from below onto it more than once, I wager.

The "spikes" are pretty stiff, but not sharp and pointy. I have a Standard Australian Shepherd and a Mini Australian shepherd and they LOVE to run and play and of course that means, where my yard is lacking grass, they end up digging up dirt and bring it all through the house. I put up little garden fences and fenced off the bare dirt areas and the first thing my mini Aussie did was jump RIGHT over it and into the dirt again. I threw the deterrent mat strips over and both dogs stay out now! I'd say thats a WIN! and now my grass can finally grow in those areas!

I don't understand the complaints! Yes it's rolled up yes it's plastic and not a luxury item but it's awesome! No more dog on the couch. Stick the edge between the cushion and the arm and it won't roll back up.

The product does not work for its intended purpose. Cats hopped right up on to this mat on the top of our wall as I was installing it. It's not that it can't be useful for something but it's definitely not useful for keeping cats away from stuff and that was it's advertised purpose, so it is a total failure in that sense. I have rolls of this stuff left because I was going to do my entire backyard fence and I have a big backyard, and now I don't know what to do with it. It also doesn't keep them from pooping in the rocks. They just don't give a damn about this stuff. Don't risk it. Find another option.

I bought this to keep my puppy from behind my couch. She decided her Potty place was behind it so I put this where she couldn’t get back there unless she walked on it. Also, there’s too many electrical cords she wants to chew. All she had to do was cross it one time and no more problems with where she goes! I’m very pleased with it and would buy it again!

Beware of injury to your pet if you use this product to keep them off furniture. The spikes will cause puncture wounds.

This is the only thing that has finally kept my cat from peeing on the couch. And I’ve tried everything! We just move it when we want to sit and put it back when we get up. Looks crazy on the couch but it’s better than cat urine on it!

This is definitely a danger to cats…the spikes are long and narrow and pointy at the ends…the underneath is not smooth and would cause much damage to your furniture …I would report this product as “Pet Abusive””
