This was a great purchase. We bought several Blue Kazoos -- in order to participate in a virtual family graduation ceremony (in which family members played 'Pomp and Circumstance' on kazoos (via a Zoom conference)). The kazoos were fabulous for this purpose. From the moment of their on-time arrival -- we were pleasantly surprised time-after-time. Each kazoo is packaged in a small BLUE tube. Inside is a small zippered carrying/storage bag, with a BLUE carabiner clip, and several kazoo replacement films (for vibrato). The kazoos are made of lightweight metal. They make a very nice sound, are sturdy and usable by adults (kids too, I would guess). Everyone in our family was able to use them successfully -- and had great fun doing so. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this kazoo. Great value and fun for the price.

I purchased the Blue Kazoo for its improved durability, replaceable diaphragms, and appearance compared to plastic toy kazoos. I felt that if my dog got hold of it, she wouldn't be able to do much damage, and the lack of soft plastic would discourage her from proceeding. I must be going color-blind, as the kazoo itself is not blue but just polished anodized aluminum. The kazoo arrived at my doorstep the next day with only about 400 waking hours to practice before National Kazoo Day on January 28th - a far cry from Malcolm Gladwell's 10,000-hour myth of mastery. I don't recall playing one of these before, but I've always considered them a novelty instrument for children. As a clown, this is perfect to slip into my pockets and doesn't weigh much. The packaging included three spare membranes and a canvas bag with a carabiner folded and stuffed into a blue tube, which was difficult to pull out by hand. I initially heard nothing. (Had I mistaken the blue tube for packaging rather than the kazoo itself?) When I unscrewed the cap, I discovered a membrane had slipped loose, and the cover had been overtightened during shipping - a kazoo rendered silent by excessive engineering. It was fairly easy to screw the cap back into place. Once you are done playing with your kazoo, you'll find it difficult to put it back in the canvas bag that came with it. Place one side against a corner and gently push to stretch the bag while trying to squeeze it inside. After the first or second time, it gets easier to store and retrieve. What everyone quickly discovers is that, besides humming, you need to have the kazoo pressed against your lips to feel the vibration of your voice through your teeth. Well, some folks soon catch on that you just need to press against any hard surface in your head with a small amount of air to carry the vibration. Anyone with a sense of humor will then work out a way to play the kazoo with their nose using the cartilage! This little kazoo is perfect for jug bands and sure to bring a smile to everyone's face, or annoy them to no end, as children will not stop playing with it.

Fun little gadget. It’s surprisingly sturdy for something that makes such a silly sound. Plays loud, definitely something that my kids might have trouble finding in the near future!

this thing is a P.O.S. The part that screws in and is suppose to hold the piece of paper just comes off when you loosen it. If its tight, it doenst make any noise, when you loosen it it makes a noise and sounds like a kazoo but unless you're holding it with your other hand the paper just blows out and the piece holding it down comes out as well. The build quality is also garbage, it looks and feels like it was made with 2 tin cans. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE. The carboard it came in is nicer than the product itself.

Es un poco más pequeño de lo que esperaba pero me agradó la amplificación que logra. No sé qué tan resistente sea a un pisotón pero no tengo intención de probarlo. Además de la funda (saco de tela con cierre) viene un estuche cilíndrico con el que se protege muy bien y que no me esperaba. Me gustó el producto lo tengo diario a mano para estar tarareando lo que sea. Observación: al principio pensé que no funcionaba o no sabía yo qué hacer pero bastó con aflojar un poco el tornillo que sujeta la membrana o bien voltear la membrana y ajustar bien el tornillo.

It’s a kazoo, and it works. One of the two I ordered also came with a pack of extra washers. (The sound-making part. I don’t know what it's called.) recommended for all your kazoo needs, whatever those may be.
