The case is not what I expected. I thought I was buying another big brand knock off. This is its own thing. I have the iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue. I've tried a lot of the big brands, but the color of the case that is advertised is not what you get (the color is way off on the blue Otterbox Symmetry+ case) the color is a perfect match for the Pacific Blue. It looks great. Not only does it look great, but a lot of the other cases that I've tried don't have much camera protection -- this one does not disappoint. I don't feel like the cameras are going to get scratched up if I put my phone down or drop it. Additionally, as mentioned in one of the other reviews, the rubber isn't "soft" like in the leading brand ones. it isn't a flimsy piece of rubber that feels becomes a lint magnet. This one is solid. The inside groves seem to be there to be able to absorb drops. The texture feels nice in the hand as well. Basically, it is everything that I like of the Otterbox Symmetry and everything that I like of the Otterbox Commuter. I like that it is a 2 layer case (like the Commuter). I like that it does not have the port covers (like the Symmetry), because they can be annoying when trying to get in an out of your car quickly or to just get it charged. For every day, it is great -- for doing outdoor activities, I would still prefer using an Otterbox Defender or something of the likes with port covers, so that you don't get dust or dirt in the ports. The texture feels like that of the Symmetry, which I like a lot. It is also not as bulky as the Commuter and is not much thicker than the Symmetry (just slight if comparing them side by side). Bottom line -- the case is great! It looks great, feels great, and it feels like it will protect my phone. The price is right, not too expensive for quality and protection that seems to rival the leading brands.

This case is a perfect look-a-like for the otter box case at a way better price point. Both my screen and camera lens broke with an otter box symmetry case on my last phone so I figured I’d try something new. Right off the bat, points for presentation as the case comes in a nice box with a slide out tray housing the case. As previous reviewers mentioned, the plastic is slick. It was the first thing I checked after the reviews mentioned it and I thought “yup sending it back.” But, I tried the case on and gave it a spin. It fits my 12Pro perfectly and all the buttons are easy to use. There is enough of the silicone lip on the front to keep the screen off of any surface, and the same for the camera. The phone is comfortable to hold and use with the case on. Anddd, to my great relief, while using the phone like a normal person, I’ve never once had a neat drop or slip out of my hands. So yes, first appearance, the case is slippery and easily slides against your fingers. But during use I haven’t had one slip. And before I put the case on I almost dropped the phone (no case) at least 10 times because it was so slippery. All in all, seems like a good case. The blue is the exact same color as the pacific blue 12Pro which looks nice as the color shows around the camera. I haven’t had it long enough to drop test it yet, but I’ll report back when that happens. Let’s consider no news as good news. If the whole thing shatters and implodes I’ll let you know.

Nice case, it fits my 16E snugly. The case is hard, durable; it was tough putting it on the phone, I just wonder what I’d had to do to get it off without damages…

2 years later and still going strong!! Original review(May 2023)-Love the case so far. It has a hard plastic type of feel but it’s not bulky like those otterbox cases. Fits my iPhone 12 Pro snugly and the color is pretty(got the purple and black case). One thing I kind of don’t like is that it’s a bit slippery. If the sides had an added grippy silicone type of texture then it would be perfect. I do feel like I could easily drop it since there aren’t any textured bits on the sides/underneath to prevent sliding. Otherwise it’s a good case and I would recommend(just hold onto it firmly!) Edit Review Feb 2025: Wanted to give an update. I still have this case on my phone and it’s still going strong. I guess I got used to the slipperiness of the case because I don’t notice that anymore. I have definitely dropped this phone many times though(like any normal person, not a whole lot but not never), on hardwood floors and concrete and my phone is still perfect AND SO IS THE CASE! The case has no chips, no scratches, no dings and neither does my phone(I also have a screen protector). So just wanted to update that the case is still going strong 2 years later! Definitely worth it!!! Especially for the price

This case is very similar to the “Otterbox” brand products, just 1/4 of the cost. Definitely recommend; though Ottorbox does have the lifetime case guarantee (which pays for the case by the time you’re on the third/fourth one) but for cheaper cost up front, this case is an excellent option!
