Does anyone know if these are treated with anything? I want to make a toy for my pet conure and want to be sure these would be safe

Don't know for sure if they are treated with anything, but I suspect not. These plate holders are pretty flimsy though. Not sure how they would stand up to a pet bird, especially if the bird would be pecking at or biting down on it.

Are these food safe? I'd like to use them for cheese molding.

I think they would be food safe if you cover the food, as you do not what any of the wicker to get in the food you are preparing. You can return them if it’s not what you want. Good luck with your cheese!!
