Dr Song Korean Skin Care - Vitamin C Serum with Hyaluronic Acid Anti Aging Korean Beauty

Just recently bought this serum after doing extensive research on many different products. I was really looking for something that is made in the U.S.A. with the most natural ingredients possible. The price may be low, but the quality is superb! The texture of the serum is refreshing and absorbs well without being sticky. My skin is sensitive and it doesn’t irritate it or cause any breakouts. The smell is pleasant and subtle. Just smells like essential oils of some sort. I’ve already noticed my sunspots lighting and my fine lines diminishing after just one week of use. Some people were freaking out that it contains phenoxyethanol saying that it is toxic, however it is a preservative that is used in many cosmetics and especially liquids to prevent molding and bacteria. It probably contains less than 1% which is not harmful in such a small amount. Some people are allergic to this ingredient, but I had no issues.

For the past 18mo I've been perfecting my skincare clense/correct/protect regimens. I currently use a collagen serum, and a (vitamin c, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin e) serum. I had been wanting to incorporate more active ingredients into my serums in general. I used this for 2 days and here are my impressions. It has a mild sterile smell like most of my serums. It is a cloudy white consistency. It is not as runny as a clear watery serum, but not as thick as a collagen serum... so I always apply thinnest to thickest with serums, and serums always before creams and oils. The packaging is nice, and its VERY affordable. I will say, it blends well with other serums but should be let to dry 95% before moving on to moisturizer to avoid pilling up on the skin... but that's the same with any product. Most importantly, my skin has looked noticeably brighter, completely acne free, and feels silky all day. I have normal, non-problematic skin, am in my mid 30s and am just trying to care for my skin and prevent damage. It may appear oily initially after applying, but it absorbs so you won't look oily. It wears well under sunscreen and makeup. I am a fan of this product and will keep using it.

PROS: quicker shipping than expected, nice size for the price, fresh, light and citrusy scent, so moisturizing to the point where I almost forget to put on moisturizer, diminishes fine lines, de-puffs undereye area, lightens dark circles, and increased eyelash grow (don't ask how, but my eyelashes are thicker, a bit longer and curlier since I use this around my eyes) CONS: (not really a con, just an observation) doesn't do much for genetic darkness under the eyes, slow to even skin tone OVERALL: I will continue to use and see what my results are. Great product and reasonably priced! Edit: I have to take back what I said about it not doing much for genetic dark circles. It didn't erase them, but it helped a lot. I appreciated how fresh the serum and how moisturizing it was. I will definitely purchase it again!

This is a great product for an even better price! I was shocked when I saw that it was so cheap! You can't turn this deal down. And also it's not only vitamin C serum, it has the other ingredients in it too, lavender oil, rose water, aloe vera, and jojoba oil. It smells really nice, I can smell the lavender and rosewater for sure. It's kind of a milky white liquid and very thin. When I put it on, it feels really nice and like I said, thin. Even though it's a thin consistency, it still feels very hydrating. I love that it has the dropper with it which makes it easy to dispense, and I'm sure once you get to the end of the bottle you'll be able to get all of it out because of the dropper. It's a small bottle, it's only 1 oz but I've been using it for about 2 weeks and only used less than a quarter of the bottle. A little goes a long way. Since I have only been using it for two weeks I can't really comment on the effects of it but if I remember I will update this review after I've used it for longer. If you've been looking for vitamin C serum or just something natural to put on your face and neck, this is it!

I’ve ordered this 3 times now, and every single time the consistency or coloring has been different. First bottle had a loose, runny consistency and was a light orange color. Second bottle was THICK and clumpy with dark orange color. Third bottle is less thick but now is a pale yellow almost clear??? It doesn’t irritate my skin or anything, but I don’t feel comfortable repurchasing again considering there is no consistency in the formula. Makes me wonder what is going on on the production side for me to basically get a different product every time lol
