Really solid quality for a low price
To be honest, I had fairly low expectations. Inexpensive pedal from a brand that isn’t known very much and I’m using it to pitch shift my tone, that’s a big ask for this pedal. But it nails it well! I had my guitar tuned to drop c and used the pitch shift feature set to -9, fully expecting the sound to be wobbly at best but it handled it perfectly. It’s very easy to use, it feels like it got a solid build, doesn’t take up a lot of space and works exactly as needed. I haven’t yet tried the harmonize and detune effects so I can’t speak to those but pitch shift works perfect

Great pedal for certain things.
Bought this pedal as a budget harmonizer. Had some difficulties figuring out where to place it in the signal chain. BTW, it seems to do much better at the front end of the signal chain after compression, and before drive, and modulation. The harmonizer side doesn’t quite do what I want it to do. Doesn’t sound like a true harmony. Don’t know that I ever plan to use the pitch adjustment option. Just not my style, but the detune option on this pedal is phenomenal! The detune option quality makes it worth purchasing. I’ll likely keep it as a stand alone detune pedal, and save up for the Moore Harmony X2.

Drop B and Drop C without dedicating guitars
I see that there are a few poor reviews on this unit, but man, I think people would complain that their $50 guitar doesn't sound as good as a $5000 Gibson. Come one already. This is a very good unit for a very reasonable price. Would I use it on stage? I don't know ... I don't play on stage. I'm a man cave rock-star. It's more than good enough for me. I can do Drop D and Drop C with a flick of the switch. No need to cut into the nuts to accommodate thicker gauge strings. Granted, it won't chug as hard as dedicated guitars with thicker gauge strings ... but man, this costs less than lunch at McD's for the family. As mentioned in a previous post, put this in front of your chain.

Not usable for drop tuning!
I tried this pedal because ive have had success with this brand. But this pedal does not work it’ll be to you, but there’s so many artifacts and delays ,latency. it’s unusual for pitch shifting. I will say the chorus effect is amazing. One of the best courses I’ve ever heard the harmony. I didn’t even mess with that because I needed it in order to drop him and it can’t even do a half step let alone a whole step or or it’s probably better to buy the better pedal and or hopefully they can correct this problem all that to say, I do like MOORER brand.

Sound indeed better than Digitech
I play Bass in a cover band where too often we need to transpose one or two steps down, cause the singers do not reach the heights of the originals. I already changed to a 5-string, but still, it's very messy to transpose it all on the fly, and often you need those open strings, to get it grooving. So I surely appreciate a device which does the pitch shift for me. I tried the Digitech Drop once which costs more than double, but it influences my bass-tone in a way I could not tolerate, so I had to send it back immediately. Then I stumbled upon the Mooer and thought, can it be better for such a low price? And indeed, it can! You should put it in front of any other effects and then the sound with a pitched signal (for the most I do only -1 and -2) is really good. For a well-trained ear, there is a little latency, but I absolutely can live with it. Since it’s so cheap I really appreciate the sound but if you have any sense of timing the latency would be hard to handle!

EVH's MicroPitch at a Fraction of the Price
I own an Eventide Micropitch, which is a modern compact version of the two $3k rack-mount Eventide units EVH used to great effect at the height of his career. EVH took his original guitar signal up the center of the stereo stage, simultaneously sending a few cents (micro) down-tuned signal to the left and a few cents up-tuned signal to the right. (See if you can find a Pete Thorn Micropitch demo on you tube, it's glorious.) THIS little Mooer Drop Pitch Harmonizer does exactly half of that (either tuning down OR up) for under $50! I bought two, and dedicated one tuned down a few cents, the other tuned up a few cents. I spent about a third of an Eventide and use only one normal space on my pedalboard. Here is the EXACT secret correct settings on the Mooer (otherwise this pedal quickly begins to sound like - ugh): Top switch in DOWN POSITION (Detune); dial position at -2 cents OR +2 cents. The Mooer's accuracy goes way off and sounds horrible if you venture away from the correct settings. Search for an excellent Jake Tanis video demo on the Moorer Pitchbox titled "Van Halen in a Box".

An honest review
I wanted to love this thing because one of the features that it does is change keys for you. You can go up or down in half step increments which is really useful for playing an array of different music, especially live without having to tune your guitar differently. Here's the downside: This pedal has a permanent minor latency that sounds like a slapback delay/reverb mixed with a chorus pedal effect. That might sound cool to you, but if you were to use this in a live setting it would not sound good at all or at a loud volume. If you're going to use this in your room or at home and you don't care about your tone, then I guess you could still use it for those purposes. If you're someone who doesn't really care about their tone, then I guess this could work for you. Other than that it is well crafted and looks sturdy

Works well as a pitch shifter but needs tone adjustment.
Only bought the product for pitch shifting, which it does well, however you'll need to adjust your tone afterwards, which I've heard is the same with other brands also, so well worth it at this price.

Good for value
Very good pedal, only downside is that the higher/lower you go its starts to get a bit robotic and less natural, other than that great pedal!
