So much better than a rucksack!
Great bag, well made, easy to fit/remove, waterproof and a good size. This was another bit of kit I bought for a trip round King Alfred's Way - 375km mostly off road, which we did in a fairly leisurely 4½ days. For 3 of those days, I needed to carry a set of 'non-riding' clothes for the hotel, a change of riding clothes, washbag and some extra gels, bars, CO2 & a tube or two. In this bag, I could comfortably fit: deck shoes, polo shirt, chino shorts, underwear, small washbag; change of cycling shorts, socks, top & very light waterproof; phone charger; 1 day's worth of gels and bars; a couple of tubes, a couple of CO2 cylinders. That was fairly full, but it could have taken more. It was easy and fairly quick to take on and off the bike. Once strapped up well, it was very secure, miles clear of the back wheel and fairly stable. I noticed the extra (top heavy) weight on the bike handling for the first hour or two of Day 1, but after that, never really noticed it again. Some of our party wore rucksacks instead - but this was a vastly better solution, especially on the hotter days when rucksacks result in hot and sweaty backs! I looked at / tried about 4 similar bags, including two from Rockbros and one from Yagosodee. At about £33, this was mid-priced, but the combination of size, quality of material, straps and clips made this the obvious choice for me, regardless of cost. It coped with the trip really well and on the day we got absolutely soaked, everything inside stayed completely dry - which was also more than could be said for some of the rucksacks! As an added bonus, it acted like a large rear mudguard! One minor niggle is that where the very front of the bag rested against the saddle tube, it has worn slightly. This area could do with a bit of reinforcement. A zippered side pocket for easy access to small items would also be a useful improvement. But overall, I'm extremely happy with this bag and how it performed and no hesitation recommending it.

Good quality but one slight concern.
Over a 3 day trip and about 160mls from Carlisle to Leeds on about 50% roads, the rest farm tracks, rocky areas and canal path of mixed surfacing this performed well with the Rhino walk stabilising bracket. There was little or no movement. Although similar brackets can be bought for a third of the price. I cannot vouch for it waterproof credentials as we encountered no rain but the outer material is of good quality so am confident it would not leak. One slight concern is that the straps to secure the bag over the saddle rails are not sewn through to the plastic support material beneath the outer waterproof layer. This feels like it could tear with use, although it did not do so on this trip as a webbing strap which I used is provided to support this area.

Very good bag
Used for a 2 week trip The bag is meant to sit more horizontally, but I had the clearance to clamp it higher, which makes it a lot more secure reducing any chance of sway and more importantly for me keeping it's weight further forwards. Waterproofing held up well Nothing broke, despite me really ramming things in. Fits tightly could be folded up easily locks on the ribbon strings really stopped the bag loosening only issues are the Velcro at the seal can be a bit weak when wet, but the clips were good enough to stop anything falling out. And I'd like the tightening locks to be on both pairs of straps.

Spacious under saddle bag
Great piece of kit for one or two night bike touring. Only used once so far, but there was plenty of room for two cycle kits, toiletries, micro-fibre towel, flip flops, shorts and T-shirt. There was a fair bit of wobble with the bag full but a steadying bracket would probably remedy this. As I only travelled light the bag was more than acceptable, however I’m not sure how it would be with more heavier duty clothing in it. Seems to be well constructed and fit for purpose

Need to fill it up to get the best out of it
Waterproof. Fiddly to fit. Can’t remove it quickly so need to empty it or risk items stollen if you need to large the bike for a short period. Awkward to roll up as quite thick

It’s good but room for improvement
Bought this bag for coast to coast bike ride in august this year. It’s pretty easy to fit and had a pretty good capacity. It rained for 90% of my journey, so I can confirm it’s water proof !!! My only gripe is it moves about a fair bit. I pulled tight but when out the saddle on climbs. You can feel the bag move side to side which can alter the bike stability. Other than that it’s not a bad bag !!

Great quality Buy with confidence 👌
The quality of this item is truly impressive, both in appearance and feel. I selected the 13-liter size, and I am delighted to find that it offers a generous amount of internal space, which can be conveniently folded and secured with clips. This product certainly merits a five-star rating.

13L feels like the sweet spot for a weekend “credit card” cycling tour. Feels durable and well built. High quality straps with elastic keepers to roll up and tuck away the extra. Definitely fits better when it’s packed more fully as the body has more structure. Two *thick* Velcro straps keep the bag securely fastened to the seat post. Two smaller nylon straps weave over the saddle rails and clip to the underside of the bag. I like that these straps have a locking cam, so there’s less risk of them slipping and the bag dropping and hitting the wheel as you ride. Finally, two more nylon straps keep the roll top secured and keep the bag horizontal. The rear reflector badges and webbing for a tail light are a nice touch - a cheap quarter turn Garmin adapter allows you to add your favorite tail light or radar unit. Haven’t ridden with it yet. It’s possible that the bag may sway side to side especially when you’re out of the saddle but Rhinowalk makes a stabilizer bar that would reduce the risk of this. Also time will tell if the stitching holds up - especially the possible critical failure point where the thin nylon strap weaves over the saddle rails. That portion of the strap is stitched to the top of the bag, whereas in more expensive bags it’s riveted on or has a metal fastener of some kind. Finally, I got the two “Plateau” series bags - frame bag and top tube bag - to go with this. Together they provide over 16L of storage which should be plenty for my touring needs.
