Actually water resistant! It is perfect for us. Just get a little extra warm because of the material it's not as breathable as a normal mattress cover but that's to be expected! Very durable and good quality

This mattress protector is better than the one I paid twice as much for, it is comfortable true to size fits perfect and protect just as well or better than the higher priced ones. Great quality and comfortable.

Exactly what I needed. I’ve always used these as a way to protect my mattresses from sweat and the occasional coffee spill (I don’t have kids so I can’t attest to any “accident” protection). The material is thin but durable, I like the cotton topping as pure plastic will trap heat and make awful squeaking noises. The cover has very deep pockets (perfect for me) and mesh sides which is great for ventilation of the mattress itself. I wash mine every three months by hand, but I have washed it in the machine before with no issues (I just find it goes quicker in the sink). I’ve had mine for over a year now and it’s still perfect, absolutely no issues.

Was worried that with this product, being waterproof, would create noise on movement, but having perused previous reviews which said there was no noise I can concur. Amazingly quiet & very happy.
