Posture Task Chair Without Arms in Black, Low-Back (B305)

3-29-14 Had to add to my comment. Have had this chair now about 2 years and can't say enough good about it. It still looks as if it was new even though I use it constantly. Maintains its position so I don't have to adjust height, upholstery still looks like new, rollers work smoothly, and it is comfortable. You won't go wrong purchasing this chair. Another terrific Amazon purchase!!! 6-28-13 I have had this chair for almost a year now and use it every day, sitting in it for 6 to 12 hours a day (I am retired and do everything over the computer including games). It looks like it is still new. It is so comfortable to sit in and the height maintains it position so you don't have to continually adjust it, the rollers still work smooth, and there are no cracks or wear marks in the upholstery. I can't say enough good about this chair. I worked in an offices for 40 years and would have never believed a typing chair could be this comfortable and retain its new look. You won't go wrong purchasing this chair. Dec. 5, 2012 Update I use my chair every day and usually for hours. I have had no problems with it. It is still comfortable, rollers roll smoothly, holds its height (doesn't slip down). Upholstery maintaining its appearance with no cracks or wear spots. I couldn't be more satisfied. Would buy the chair again with no hesitation and highly recommend it. Sept. 11, 2012 Update Have now used this chair every day for a month and love it. Comfortable to sit on (being retired I use my computer for hours each day), rolls easily (on carpet), upholstery has leathery feel, and is a nice size. Would definitely buy it again and highly recommend it. 8-11-12 This is a fantastic chair. I am a 75 year old woman. I opened the carton, assembled the chair and was sitting on it in less than one hour!!!! If I can do it by myself in less than an hour, anyone can do it. Three Hints: 1) you will need a decent sized Phillips screwdriver. The one I used is 8" long and fit the screws perfectly. 2) you may not need the top piece of the cone (the smallest piece). In my case the seat would not fit so I took the top small cone off and the seat fit perfectly. 3) The lever to raise and lower the seat has to be on the RIGHT hand side as you are sitting on the chair. Instructions: Either go to the Boss Chairs website or use this link to go directly to instructions: [...] . The website has an visual that literally shows you how to assemble as well as written instructions, and a very good diagram of how to assemble the chair. One is animated and literally shows the chair being assembled. The upholstery on the chair (LeatherPlus) is very rich looking and nice to the touch, and the seat and back are padded. This chair could easily be at a desk in your living room or office and look very nice. I highly recommend this chair and would definitely buy it again.

UPDATE: After using this chair for over 6 months, I would probably select the cloth material next time. If your office tends to be cold, the pleather will remain cold. I notice every time I sit down how cold the chair is. The feel of the pleather is nice to the touch, though, and the chair is holding up very nicely. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have been on the lookout for a chair that works for me ever since the work-from-home stuff started in 2020. I have been cycling through chairs I own as old as 2006, 2011, 2012 and then a few I bought in recent years. None worked long term. My posture would suffer, and I would suffer. THIS CHAIR on Amazon for less than 100 dollars is finally an all-day-comfortable chair for me. I got the pleather one with no arm rests. It goes high enough I can actually sit above my table and reach down to my keyboard. The backrest is thick and supportive and tall enough and tilts just right to line up with my natural position. The chair cushion itself is supportive but comfortable. I do not even notice I have been sitting anymore, which is amazing. Now, it did require sitting for a few hours before I got used to it, but I love this chair. Final thought: the pleather is on the slicker side instead of sticky. I do not slip from the seat, but if you want more traction, you might consider the cloth version of this chair. For reference, I am 6 feet tall, about 170 pounds.

This is the 2nd chair like this I have purchased. This year's price was better than when I ordered it the first time. I've owned the 1st one for about 2 yrs. and although I don't sit in it everyday, it is exactly what I need for sewing and quilting. The seat shows no signs of wear, and is very comfortable. When it does get a bit loose, it's easy to tighten back up. Both were very easy to put together, with minimal effort on my part, and only a Phillips head screw driver needed. Great product!

Great chair for the $. Basic but, adequate.

Let me start with the good... this chair is very comfortable. It looks great. You can raise the seat, lower it, turn completely around, and or lean back in this chair. I am not sure about very tall or large folks... I am just under 5'8 and slim, and this chair is very comfortable. It is durable too. I have bought two of thees chairs now over the past 10 years. The bad, the directions are not really all that clear for some folks.. takes a minute for everything to literally "click". But to be fair, it is not hard to assemble... just would be alot easier if the directions were a bit sharper. This is not why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 though. I gave it 4 stars because in the 5 or so years since I bought the first of these two chairs, the price has gone up significanly, therfore making it less affordabe. And that would be fine if the chair was still in the absolute top quality. And maybe others are, but my second chair, though still comfortable, etc., has some imperfect stitching... threads that are bunched up here or there, sticking out in others. It is not torn, or anything like that, just a few little quirks here or there that detract from it's overall appearance. Course I am told I notice lots of little details others don't see (or care about)... so you will have to be the judge. I also hate the bright orange tag that comes SEWN onto the chair. It takes a long time toget it off without damaging the fabric. So patience is required. All that aside, it is an excellent chair!

I love it. This chair is very comfortable to sit on. which is important because I have back problems.

Nice chair

Its a pretty good chair, and excellent for the price I paid. I had another Boss chair which has a very sharp transition of the seat cushion which hurts your legs however this one has a rolled edge and so feels just fine

It's too high and doesn't lower enough for my desktop. The leather is very hard, not too comfortable.

This chair was very easy to assemble, is sturdy and looks nice. However, it becomes crazy uncomfortable after just a few minutes. The seat is pretty stiff, but still ok. The problem is the backrest which feels like a square slightly padded piece of wood. It has no shape (and little padding) to conform to your back. Plus, it is not adjustable in height. Seriously, do not buy this chair, you'd regret it.
