Nail Art Stamping Kit- 10 Manicure Plate Set with Polish Stamper and Scraper by Salon Designs

I started out trying to use the As Seen on TV nail stamping kit and could never get it to work. So I was a little hesitant on purchasing this item ( 30-piece nail stamping kit) but I am so happy I purchase this. it is a great product and it is the only stamping kit that I have found (other than konad which is pretty expensive) that works flawlessly. It arrived on time and the packaging was good and well-protected. The only bad things I have to say about this product are: 1.The scraper that this kit comes with does scratch the plates so I recommend using a old credit card or a card that you are no longer using to scrap the nail polish off instead of the scraper. 2.The edges of the plates themselves are very sharp. I cut myself just trying to remove the blue protective film that is on the plate. So be very careful when handling and if you are purchasing this item for a child (I purchased this for my nine-year-old niece but of course I tested them first) I would recommend purchasing a set of protective sleeves (can be found on Amazon as well) so your little ones don't hurt themselves. 3.the plates I received had scratches all over them and I was worried that the images on the plates would be affected by the scratches but after taking the blue film off I found that the scratches that were on the plates were superficial and did not affect the design at all. the Stamper itself works great the only thing I did 2 it was cleaned it off with acetone before using it. The designs are amazing. I'm not sure if each set comes with different plates in them but the plates I received have some of the following designs on them: flowers and hearts (great for Valentine's Day), snowflakes and presents (great for Christmas), yin yang, dragon's, and butterflies, just to name a few But there are so many more and each stamping plate has 6 - 7 designs on it. This product is a must-have for all nail fanatics and I still can't believe that I got 30 plates for $13. It is a great deal and I highly recommend purchasing this I promise you won't be disappointed. I myself plan on purchasing the 100-piece stamping kit ASAP.

I discovered these kits while searching Amazon for something else. I really did not think this would work and be that easy. But it works very well! The stamper itself did not work at all. I took the advice from another customer and bought the Konad stamper that is double sided. It works well with these plates. You should watch some videos on how to stamp prior to using these. You will see how easy it is. Do not be intimidated by this at all. Anyone with a steady hand, creativity, and some time can do this! I did not buy the expensive polish meant for stamping. I used what I have. You will learn which polishes work and which ones do not work. Practice with paper first and you will be ready to go! I am so glad I found these. My nails on the first try look like they were done professionally. I can't believe that I could make them look so great! Each plate has several designs on it. I liked this so much that I bought more for Christmas presents.

I bought this for my niece who always admires my Konad stamped nails. She had purchased one of the As Seen On TV nail stamping kits and was frustrated that she couldn't get it to work. I am glad I tested this kit out before giving it to her, because I had to make some last minute modifications to make it work well. The plates themselves are great, although there were a few duplicates in the package. I have a few of the same plates in other brands and did a side by side comparison of the designs to see how they matched up. These printed just as clearly as Konad, Bundle Monster and Red Angel plates when using my own KONAD STAMPER. When I tried the designs with the stamper included in this kit, I got mixed results. Small designs mostly worked okay, but did not completely transfer off the stamper. They were visible on the nail, but not crisp and clear like with the Konad stamper, plus I had to clean the stamper between each print since there was always polish still left on it from the previous stamp. Full nail designs did not work well at all. The rubber on the stamper is firmer than the Konad stamper, meaning it did not compress around my finger as well. Full nail designs only transferred partially and never anywhere near my cuticle. I ended up swapping the rubber portion from my Konad stamper and the one in this kit to give it to my niece to make sure her stamps were clear and not frustrating like the last stamp kit she tried. It gave me an excuse to by a double sided Konad stamper for myself which I've wanted for a while. For the price, the plates alone were probably worth it, so I'm not too disappointed. For anyone new to stamping, save yourself a little frustration and purchase a Konad brand stamper to go along with this.

So, After reading all of the reviews I took the plunge and got this set but mostly for the stamping plates. Because I did read the reviews I was not disappointed and they were exactly as I had expected. Since this is a review of this item let me first start out saying that as all the other reviews state: The Konad Stamping tool is much more superior. Softer Rubber tip so the polish glides over the nail much smoother, plus both ends of the tool are stamp pads giving you a small and a large stamp to work with. With that being said... The plates themselves: Of the 30 included: 10 of them were duplicates 5 were chipped on the edges causing cut fingers. But using an overly rough piece of sand paper I was able to get rid of the sharp parts then coated those edges with clear polish. They don’t look so pretty any more but they still work. Other than that they are what they are supposed to be. The scraping tool: Chipped and useless Again, as with other reviews, a debit/credit or gift card works much better. Stamping tool: One size stamping end Hard and stiff rubber, makes it hard to press or roll over your nail since there is no give Overall: Good price for the Design Template Plates – Even if 1/3 of them were duplicates. Making them $0.65 apiece when you take $12.99 / 20 (Less the duplicates) But if you think about it, the duplicates do make for a nice give away gift to my soon to be 13 year old niece who loves to play with mine when she comes over. The Stamping tool was useless and it is worth the extra money to buy the Konad Stamping tool. Just toss the scraping tool. So, because I did read the reviews I was not overly disappointed. I would recommend this to others as long as they knew what to expect. It does get 4 stars because I do like the Design Template Plates (That is what the 4 stars say, 3 is the item is okay but again I do like it) – Even if 1/3 of them were duplicates. This was a Christmas present from my mom. She tried her hardest to buy me something good and when I opened it up i was super excited but when I tried to use it, the stamping plates were all scraped. It looked like they had been used before. I let that go in the beginning but then I tried the real thing with the nail polish, it just didn't work at all! I scraped the image like the directions said, but it scraped too much off so when I tried to stamp, no nail polish got picked up with the stamper. I tried over and over. I watched videos on the internet to try to learn, but nothing worked. This was the most disappointing item I've EVER gotten from Amazon! This product is really advertised falsely. Warning -- do not buy this!! It is very very disappointing.

I have to say that for the price I am extremely pleased with this set. I have only found a couple, maybe 3-4, designs out of all of them that didn't transfer very well because they were not etched that deep. For such a cheap price this was a fantastic way to try stamping to see if I liked it. I do a lot with my nails and I really like the stamping. I used an old debit card for a scraper and I did find this worked perfectly. I had no issues with the stamper itself, its works fantastic. I did take it off and put a little piece of cotton in to make the rubber stick up a bit higher so I don't have to worry about the edge when rolling on my stamp. I have recommended this to several friends who were impressed with my nails and I know that one of them has bought it for their daughter to try stamping as well because the price is so reasonable. I will also be buying this as gifts for some young ladies I know that will want to try it for themselves, that way I don't have to share mine!

These are great. I got 2 sets for my two girls. The first was the 10 plate and the other was the 30 plate set. I split them up so they both had 20. There were only about 8 duplicates throughout the entire 40, which worked out fine since I was splitting between two girls. I agree with other users that the scraper that comes with the kit is pretty useless. I pulled out two old credit cards from about 8 years ago (I have no idea why I still had these!) and use those instead. They're really easy to scrape with. I also put each plate in the holders that I purchased separately,recommended by another user (PUEEN Nail Stamp Plate Case Holder), and put them in their Christmas stockings. I tried them out with the girls Christmas day and we had a ball. The girls are 9 and 11 so their fingers and nails are a bit small for these size stamps. There are a few that will fit on their tiny fingernails, but mostly their for fully grown hands. I can use everyone of the stamps on my fingernails. It helps that I actually have long nails too. They don't. I'm sure they'll get more use out of them as they reach their teen years and quit biting their nails! Shipping was fast, quality is really good for the price. Watch the you tube videos to get a good technique down. I don't ever paint my fingernails and if I can do it, anyone can. You just have to watch how it's done before you decide it doesn't work. You tube is a great source for that.

UGh..What can I say. I guess I expected more from this kit. The designs are very cute,and most of them stamp on pretty nicely. But others don't for some reason. I've seen ppl use a similar kit and they stamp the design very,VERY nicely but mine aren't working like expected . I honestly don't know if it's the kit or if it's just me doing something wrong. :/ Now, that's the least of my problems. Im going to tell you the BIGGEST PROBLEM for me : The edges on these things are VERY sharp! After doing my 7 year Old's nails (2 days ago), I told her to help me clean the discs . Gave her a cotton ball with acetone and all of the sudden she shrieks! One of the discs cut her finger and began bleeding! THAT is a huge problem for me! And should be for you too if you have young girly - girls who want cute nails . Although, I should have known this could happen. As soon as I took the plastic off the discs I noticed they were very sharp! I won't return because the kit was very cheap and I don't want to pay shipping to return these things. But, I won't buy anything from this brand or seller again. It really ticks me off that someone would look past a potential safety hazard and still sell their product. I guess I'll go for the $30 Kit @the mall.
