Best algae control product
This product is the best!! Before using MICROBE-LIFT ALGA08 Algaway 5.4 my fountain would turn green within a week. Itโs been 3 weeks and no green at all. I just cleaned it only to clean dirt and bird poop. Soooo pleased!!!

It did what it said it would do. No more string algae
I have a small garden pond it is round maybe 30 gallons. I was having a big algae bloom in the spring with string algae and algae growing on rocks. I put a capful (and it is a small cap) into the pond. After about a week I could see a noticeable difference. Not gone, but much less string algae. After about two weeks, I added another capful. String Algae disappearing, but not completely gone. After about a month, 99% of the string algae was gone. One more capful did the job and no more string algae. I still have some algae growing on rocks, but no overly concerned about that since that stuff doesn't block my pump. Last note, My 4 small gold fish survived the treatment and my water Hyacinth I added a few weeks ago are also fine. Keep in mind that this will take a few weeks and you won't see overnight results.

Works but hard to dose for smaller water features.
This was not a surprize as I read the dosing for ponds, 90 gallons and larger. My water feature is a fountain which I found holds 15 gals of water. So I did the math and I needed about .75 ml of this product in my fountain. I got a free medical dosing syringe calibrated in ml, and I add about 1 ml per week. Seems to be working nicely. My fountain is self filling and with SoCal summer coming I think I get a full water change 2 -3 per month.

kills algae including string algae
I purchased this when my small pond had a major outbreak of string algae. Once I got the right amount in the pond it killed the algae. The string algae turns white when it dies and can be scraped off with a brush if needed. As long as I add more product each week in the warm weather the algae does not come back. If I forget the algae will start to return. This does kill snails which was a bonus for me because they were taking over the pond! I have fish and a frog in my pond and it has no effect on them.

It kills fish and aquatic plants!
What a joke! I have a small pond and bought this to help with the algae that develops feom time to time. Its not a big pond maybe 50 gallons, so it doesnt take much of this in it, well I guess 3 drops is 3 to many because 7 outta 10 of my fish have died and a couple plants in less then 24 hours! I wouldnt recommend this at all if you want fish or plants.

It works up to a point, but continued use may kill your fish
Isn't necessarily safe for goldfish. I have 2 55-gallon rain barrels, put goldfish in to prevent mosquitoes. The one at the back of the greenhouse gets more sun, so it gets more algae. I put a couple of drops in that barrel about every other week, but every time we get a rain, some of the water runs out of the barrel. We had an extra hot spell with no rain, and I put a couple of drops in the rain barrel, and the next day my fish were floating. Didn't need to put it in the front barrel (more shade) as much, and those fish are still swimming. Fortunately, goldfish are cheap.

Be sure to use correct amount for size of pond
This product had worked really well in my koi pond. I have a smaller size pond (I believe about 500 gallons) so I prefer to put smaller amounts in but more frequently. I also will do a bit of a water change and drain out like 30 gallons and add fresh water in. Pond stays clear and this is really the only treatment I use.

Finally received it - but works well
Product seems to work well considering only had used it a few days ago, after a long delay (from my end) to receive
