Purina Fancy Feast Creamy Broth With Wild Salmon and Whitefish, Gourmet Lickable Cat Food Topper, Pack of 16, 1.4 oz. Pouches

This is my 19 year old Maine Coon's favorite flavor broth, and apparently everyone else's too, because I can never find more than a couple pouches at a time in stores. I was very happy to see not only a good amount but a fair price here. He ate these intermittently as treats and apologies throughout his life (since they came out, he's older than the product line), but nothing like he has the last few months since his health has declined. Look, these are not nutritionally complete, and are relatively low calorie - I'm a veterinarian, I know that. But they are high quality, and my boy has more than earned the right to eat whatever he wishes in his final days. He lights up when he sees the bowl I put these in. He wears half of it from eating so enthusiastically, when otherwise he can't be bothered to eat much. If grandpa wants to eat chocolate cake in hospice, so be it. Only star was deducted because they asked specifically about portion size. I'd buy a damn gallon of it if they sold it. As it is, I just mix some hot water in to stretch each pouch a bit and warm it up.

My dad "owns" a half-wild cat. Basically, it's the street cat that adopted my dad and not the other way around. The cat comes in for breakfast and dinner, and whenever he needs a safe place to sleep. All attempts to domesticate him failed. Feeding the cat, who's very good at hunting, is difficult, but we want to protect other wildlife around us. The cat absolutely loves this food. We tried many other brands, and Fancy Feast is the only one that makes him lick the plate clean.

I have 2 older brother cats whose appetites are less than I’d like. My veterinarian says that I can feed them anything I have. They absolutely adore this treat ~ I pour it on top of whatever they don’t finish from their morning canned food. They must find the smell enticing and the taste wonderful. I just call, "Treat!" when I’m about to pour this on their plates and they come running into our kitchen. They eat the “broth” and also from their breakfast. As you can imagine, their happiness make ME happy. I’d love for this treat to be a bit less expensive, but as the saying goes, "You Get What You Pay For!" The price is a bit less expensive the pet store. Thank you, Purina, for developing this tasty treat!

2 of 4 of my cats love this. One recently had dental surgery and it’s been a blessing for him to be able to eat this food. However, with it arriving late was not appreciated.

My cat Loves the soup but leaves most of the meat. My sons cat does the same. Can we just have soup pouches plz??? It is overpriced but for kitty - we’ll indulge.

Our 17 year old picky eater goes to the cabinet and begs for this twice a day. We have taken to spooning out a small amount to get her to eat more often now.

As the purchaser and Cat Mom, I can attest that I do have to keep rebuying these so they must be tasty. I have no plans on tasting them but they are nice and soupy which is great for his hydration needs. And no leftovers!!! I hate throwing away food especially smelling up the trash can with smelly cat food. And no can to recycle!!
