Product description Review: Good quality. They do what they are designed to do. - I am no dentist, so I can't tell you what a dentist would think about them, however I got them to pull a couple of teeth out of my own mouth that were giving me heck. I don't have dental insurance and I'd rather not have to take out a loan to get a couple of teeth pulled. Fat and skinny, they got the job done. They have been useful in a couple of other, non-dental, prying and pulling jobs as well. They look and feel like they are going to last. They are not corroding. Review: Nicely crafted, sturdy and a bit heavier than I expected. - Let me start by saying I am not in the dental profession. DIY is my mantra and getting the right tool for the job has saved me lots of heart-ache. But sometimes the right tool is in the eye of the builder(?!). I bought these to pull one of my own very loose teeth, but these are not easy to maneuver; especially, if bumpingโinstead of grabbing your own loose tooth is painful! Lol smh! I ended up continuing to loosen tooth by hand each day. Why give these a 5-star rating? What makes me very happy that I bought these? I put them in my tool bag! I have used them many times in the past couple of weeks! They are really heavy-duty. Easy to open and close in my medium size hands (excellent machining of mechanical components). And the etched grips effectively add to the force I can use! In my assessment as a non-dental professional, I think those in the profession will be very pleased with these. I can even see these being useful for veterinarians or animal care givers. I think you will find these are the DIYerโs BEST TOOL that was not-meant to be a DIY tool. Iโve been glad I added these to my tool bag! And the tooth? My dentist said I could pull it myself since it was so loose and not a molar. Well, after a few days of wiggling it, I took a facial tissue, grab that sucker and pulled it out!

don't do it
I know why you're looking at these. I did the same thing. I was desperate and couldn't afford the dentist so I bought these and turns out my jaw bone is very tough and the tooth ended up breaking and it just made the situation worse. apply to care credit and look for a dentist that accepts it and you can pay it back over time. these are a great quality, I personally have had no rusting issues. they fit in the hand nicely and are easy to use.

Took it out myself
Perfect for pulling out a molar tooth that the dentist wanted $500 to pull it out.

DIRTY, USED-LOOKING EQUIPMENT!!!๐คข๐คฎ
Mine arrived with a thumbprint embedded on the inside of one of the forceps. The others needed cleaning. I'm most angry because I bought them back in March but the pain subsided to the point I kept putting it off. Well now the pain comes roaring back over a month later, outside of the return window, and they are filthy as hell!!! Either these were used before or poorly mishandled by filthy hands while packing. Either way, this crap isn't going ANYWHERE near my mouth...sanitized or NOT!!! Im so pissed!!! Who does that?!!๐คฌ Oh...I just read the label it says Pakistan but also had a made in U.S.A. insert if that tells you anything. Someone else suggested CareCredit Dental credit. I think I'll check them out. Good luck. DO NOT BUY!!!
