I loved, absolutely loved this product I hadn't done a pull up in almost 20 years, being 48 when I bought this device . A typical combination of getting heavier and being less strong than I was at 25, basically having less strength to do more work something you can't comprend when you're young slim and strong. It quite simply negates a percentage of your weight during the exercise so you can eliminate 15% to even up to 40% of your body weight giving you a feeling of doing the exercise smoothly with support, it's very empowering and fun to do smoothly set of 7 to 10 reps feel the motion and minimise risk of injury it's like being 14 stone (196 ibs) and being magically 10 stone (140 ibs ) for your session. I have a home gym and it's maybe my one of my best bits of equipment. I would strongly recommend or to other fellow fitness athletes.

Easy to install in a doorway. When I first received this, being a 56 year old female at a good but not stellar fitness level, I thought I must be kidding myself. Upon my first attempt to do a pull up, all I could manage was to hang from the bar for a few seconds. However, I went ahead and installed it in the door of my home office and started to use it as I entered or exited a few times a day. Fast forward about 6-8 weeks and I can do a single pull-up!!! And hang for quite a while from the bar. I am now working up to 2 pull-ups. Just do it! This is a great way to increase rarely used muscles in your upper body which I believe is extremely important.
