This acrylic satin medium was perfect for a wood carved piece I painted. The dark blue was high gloss, the teal paint was flat, and the other colors were a satin finish. When the painting was complete, I put a coat of this medium on the piece which made the entire carving a very nice consistent satin finish. I had to be careful applying this medium because of all the different shapes and depths. If you’re not careful, it can form bubbles which dry and leave distasteful results. I used their high gloss medium product on other paintings with excellent results. It protects your piece from discoloration, sunlight, etc. An excellent art resource.
