Seriously hard to believe!
I spent about a week defining my needs and then 2 weeks researching the equipment I thought would best serve them. I used to do this for a living. So I bought these panels 1st. Then a month later I bought the solar generator I chose to pair these panels with. A week later, after waiting for a typical spring storm to pass, I finally got the chance to see how everything worked. I full well knew that I most likely wouldn't get the full wattage out of the panels. I was hoping for at least the 38 to 43 watts I read in the reviews. I set everything up and plugged the panels in, which took all of maybe 3 or 4 minutes. 43 watts right from the get go. I adjusted the panels to get a better angle on the sun and it jumped to 53 watts!!! Seriously??? I didn't see any reviews that got that result. I do live in Colorado & I'm at 6400' above sea level. It was a beautiful cloudless blue sky, so I had lots of great sunbeams to work with. A couple hours later, after the sun had arched over and I lost the prime angle, it was still providing 43 watts. A slight adjustment and again over 50 watts, 52 to be exact! I was beyond satisfied. Basically I was ecstatic. These panels are extremely well made. They are very simple and quick to deploy. They charged my new Bluetti Elite 30 V2 solar generator from 35% to 99% in about 3 hours. They fold up so nice and are a perfect size to fit in a backpack. What more can you ask? I highly recommend these solar panels to anyone looking for solid output in the 12 to 24vdc range to charge their solar generator, power bank, radios, cell phone, laptop, tablet, flashlight, headlamp, air pump or whatever device requires USB-A, USB-C or straight 12vdc power. I can't wait to test the quick charge capability. From my initial test, I have full trust in the safety features.

Portable Solar Power
I purchased this panel primarily for charging Ryobi 18V batteries with solar power. The SolarPowa 60 consistently delivers 38-40W via USB-C (19.5V x 2.0A) and 45-46W (17.7V x 2.6A) via DC5525 port to my Ryobi aftermarket USB-C charger, with a DC to USB-C accessory (purchased separately.) Orientation and sun intensity (time of day) will affect Current, but the Voltage was stable as long as some form of sunlight was impacting the solar cells. The high voltage was great for early morning setups. After minor adjustments, my Ryobi USB-C charger started charging. At 7am the USB-C port delivered (19.5V x 0.4A - 8.1W) with peaks of (19.5V x 0.7A - 12.8 W). By 11am-4pm a consistent 38-40W of power (USB-C) is produced by this panel, easily allowing multiple 4-6Ah 18V batteries to be recharged for free (with purchase of this panel.) I have primarily used this on my deck, driveway, and in my yard since purchase; with plans to expand to our fifth wheel camper. Lightweight at 4lbs and compact at 10” x 8” x 2” - similar to a thick notepad / paperback book. Easy to setup alone, and straight forward instructions. This panel was left outside in a summer pop-up storm by accident, fell asleep. It was flat on my patio table with charger and battery underneath in the shade. Water was beaded up and standing on the panels when I approached them but it caused no damage. Luckily my charger and battery were safe in the shaded covering of the table. I dried off the fabric backing with a towel and have had no issues whatsoever since it was rained on. I don’t plan on being rough with this equipment but it does give me peace of mind it is durable. Time will tell. 2 Year warranty per Big Blue.

Almost perfect...
Pros: - Compact - Light weight - Powerful - Charging cable fits most common power charging stations without adapter - USB-A and USB-C direct charge Cons - The power box is totally exposed and has virtually no protection from the elements, except for a rubber cap on the ports. - Folding is a bit difficult and awkward with 8 separate panels. In the closed position, one of the straps goes right over the power box and deforms the rubber port cap easily. I was able to pull about 40 watts without optimizing the position of the panel against the sun. Overall great product that could become perfect with a bit of redesign.

Great performance for the small size!!
Performed great for my need! I wanted something to keep my devices running while at the beach or camping. (away from a charging port) This folds up very neatly and is not "too large" when deployed. (fits perfectly on top of a folding wagon like you take to haul stuff to the beach) Instead of plugging straight into a phone or tablet, (which I did try, and it will distribute power to both USB C and A simultaneously) I chose to route the power through the USB C to a portable battery heavy on USB C input/outputs. This turned out to be the key to the perfect set-up! Add a battery, and it becomes a "set it and forget it" power station! I ran several devices on the beach all day (iPhone, iPad Air, 2 android phones, and a Bluetooth speaker) and all left the beach with 100% charge after all day use thanks to the battery supporting pass-through charging. The panel was very easy to set up, and provided a measured 26w-36w (and maybe more at times, but that's all I saw at times on a intermittently cloudy day), which was well in excess of the draws on the listed devices. The legs on the back are easy to use and depending on the situation, can get you to full charge sooner depending on sun angle. I'd buy one again just to be able to deploy two!! I would like to see a better dust guard on the ports. Or maybe individual covers on each port, so the unused ports can stay covered while the others are in use. But if you're placing it on something and not directly in sand, it'll do fine.

Improved Velcro leg design
**Update December 2024** Took these on another two trips this year, out Midwest for the Eclipse in Vincennes, IN, through central Northern states to Wyoming for Devils Tower and back through SD, ND, and MN. Visibly showing signs of use, but consistently bring in 75-83 watts per panel. Still get 50-60 watts per panel laid flat when windy in bright sunlight. Very versatile, I love these panels. Came in very handy at relatives’ houses running fridges, freezers, and making coffee during Helene aftermath power outage in SC. Still using in conjunction with glass panels as the strengths and weaknesses complement each other. **Update July 2023** Used these alongside the glass DIY suitcase in the Southwest desert camping areas for 6 months, and they performed very well. Consistently brought in 70-80 watts each, even when getting very hot in the sun. Found out early on not to leave them up on the stands if any wind gusts can happen. The first day using them was in 30 MPH gusts and both got some gashes in the ETFE from the desert rocks after they were blown onto their faces. (Did not affect performance in any perceptible way.) This is where the glass DIY suitcase panel outperformed, but only because I could stack 20 or more pounds of rocks on the legs to avoid movement in high winds. Learned how to stack rocks on these flexible panels to allow use in 20-25 MPH winds regularly, and found I could keep them flat on the ground for crazy windy days. Since these are lighter, and easier to set up and repack in the car than the glass panel, I found myself relying on these much more often. Very impressed with the durability and ease of use. **Original Review** 24 volt version. Use only with MPPT if not using with BigBlue solar generator. If using PWM, get the 12V version. Competes very well with 2 Glass 50 watt panels in series. Pictures show wattage for each, and then swapped the charge controllers for reference. Much lighter than glass panels but will get blown over in desert wind. New leg design has strap management and Velcro instead of snaps. Very nice portable panel. Will update review after heavy use.

Fantastic Portable Charger Perfect for Camping!
I absolutely love this portable solar charger! Took it on a recent camping trip and it worked flawlessly charged both our phones and my Anker Solix small power station without any issues. The foldable design with kickstand is super convenient, and the multiple output options (USB-C, USB-A, DC) make it really versatile. Plus, it’s lightweight, compact, and waterproof, which is perfect for outdoor use. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay powered up off grid!

Excellent camping/emergency solar panel...
Excellent panel. Power output was slightly less than expected but adequate. Use it for camping trips to recharge light electronics and CPAP battery. Price is excellent for performance!

BigBlue 60w portable solar charger
It is a bit heavy when you are traveling overseas, but the power is awesome. I charged 2 phones plus a charging block in the time that it took everyone else to charge 1 phone with a standard solar charger.

Seems to be OK quality.
Came well packaged. Works fine. Quality and finish fine. Can't say anything about durability since it is new.

Works well.
Works well. You need to make sure that you use a 60W USB C cable to get the full output.

No USB (despite being in pictures at time of purchase)
Pictures when I purchased showed a USB output - which wasn’t present on the panel itself. It’s just the panel and two cables with MC4 connectors - nothing else. Returned immediately. Not as advertised. Very frustrating.
